As westerners we werent sure how reliable it was to google hotels as we wanted to visit Abha. I decided to book at The Abha Crown hotel despite some negative comments. Wow what a surprise. We have been to quite a few hotels in Saudi. This is defn one of the best. The reception. Lounge. Coffee shop Rooms. Lifts. Decor is outstanding. Our suite has a beautiful bedroom. With cupboards. 2 x 2 seater and table in the room. The living area has a huge flat screen with 2 x2 seater lounge set. The kitchen is fully equipt for selfcatering. The bathroom has a toilet, bath in. Its small but hey this is the first hotel we have been to that there is actually a bath and the bathroom floors stay dry!. Aircons in all rooms. Defn not noisy. The coffee shop is amazing. The whole hotel is beautifully decorated and has marble floors. Its clean tidy and neat. The staff is extremely friendy and helpful. Wi fi in whole hotel. I would defn stay here again.!

Wonderful pleasant surprise!

We had visited Abha for work , needed a place near University. The rooms were neat and clean, although the heating system was disappointing. Breakfast was too basic and frankly my kids outright rejected it. The most commendable part was sincere and hard working staff.

An average comfortable stay with a great staff!

I had to stop in Abha for a night to continue a business trip next day. I can say that the helpful staff saved the night!!! Its an old building, but in a very good location, near the highway of Abha Khamis Mushait. I did not try the food at the hotel 'cause there were many restaurants near the location and its very nice to walk in a great weather.

Having been taking in by the great photo's posted on the internet, I decided to book myself into the Abha Crown Hotel Suits for three nights, due to a business trip in the area. What a disappointment!
Where shall I begin.......My room had an unpleasant musty smell to it. The noise from the passing cars was too loud to be able to enjoy a peaceful night's sleep. At this time of year the night time temperatures can be quite low, but no additional blankets are provided. My room was not made up after the first night. The water pressure in the dirty bathroom was ridiculous and not conducive to a decent shower. The hairdryer in the bathroom was broken. The breakfast included a handful of black olives, some Arabic bread, a cold hard boiled egg and some tea in a paper cup. Having breakfast included in the deal was one of my deciding factors. I did not bother having breakfast on the second and third mornings.  
Overall, I would not stay again, even for half the price.

Over promise and under deliver

poor complimentary breakfast,,,,items were 2 boiled eggs,some dried kuboos,cheese,honey,some green olives,and a cup of tea in paper cup...no dining hall for buffet breakfast....the rooms were small with lack of mere space.There was no TV connection in the room.The tea kettle for boiling water was not working.
