The village is lovely and authentic, and you will hardly find any tourists who are not Russian or any body who speaks English. Use Google translate to communicate. Teremok is your best option - a set of atmospheric wooden cabins with attached bath and local breakfast. The place is spotlessly clean and the owner is incredible and will do his utmost to help you. It is next to a beautiful stream in which the Russians swim duirng the hot days (we found it to be a bit cold for us). Price is very reasonable (aobut 25 usd per cabin per night) and the area has a lot to offer - make sure you visit Mezmay.. A nice buffet restaurant (called the big female bear in Russian) is 200 meters away open until 8 pm.
