This was the most quiet and relaxing acomodation we had in România and we are romanians! If you want to go for a full experience of Maramureș county this is definetly where you should stay. It has a modern design with a lot of tradițional details. Breakfast is all natural with home-made food ( the cheese was delicious, we’ve bought some from their neighbours). And also, most important, Angi & Ion will give you tips&tricks about what you should visit. We will come back for sure!

Amazing experience

This is by far the best place I've stayed at in Romania, mainly because the hosts make it feel like home. They pay attention to small details, they treat their guests as if they're relatives coming home after living abroad for a while and the place is absolutely amazing. 

I totally recommend.

Absolutely amazing

We wanted to have a nice short holiday in Maramureș and we choose this place, because we wanted something in the middle of nature, and we choose right! It is a wonderful place, managed by wonderful people! You can not wish for more. It is clean, quiet and it feels like home! I recommand 100%!

Amazing place ❤️

We had a lovely relaxing stay and the owners Angi & Ion were so helpful, friendly and the chalet was warm comfortable and spotlessly clean with everything you would need, tastefully decorated, the rooms are spacious and offer a nice view of the rural surroundings. 
Excellent breakfast with local products and homemade stuff everyday. They had great selection of food offered for breakfast & dinner.
 Would highly recommend staying here winter and summer, amazing location.

Home away from home

Hinder fully placed, they also have another Maramureș genuine place available for booking, the hosts are very kind, young and helpful. Great place for kids and dogs, big garden with playground. Peace and quiet. Will come back

Great place, great hosts

Charming rooms, pleasant and friendly hosts, quiet place, good breakfast, traditional wooden jacuzzi with heated water, A great place to start your hiking trails with family or friends. Relaxation and rest at superlative. I hope to restore the road in the future, road that is in charge of the mayor's office.

Great place, great hosts, great food

We have been at Talhaus for 3 nights at early august 2018.
This penssion was the best we found at Romania.
The owners Ion & Angela are very nice and warm people and the atmosfire at their penssion is fantastic.
Ion know the rigion very well and can help a lot to plan the vacation from  treks to all  other activitis in the area.
The rooms are nice and clean and the breakfast is excellent!
If you are in the area you must be there!


Excellent hospitality

It was a perfect holiday because of the great location and greaat guests. They are making you feel right at home. The kids had a great time playing outside and we managed to have a drink watching them.
 We really enjoyed our stay and we highly recommend them especially if you are looking for a remote location.
Also over the phone they say the road is really bad. In reality i have seen worse, so don't get alarmed.
