If you wanna have a taste of Bucharest during the interwar period, this is the place to be. Everything is great here, the rooms are amazing, the breakfast is great and the owner, Mr Mitică is a great story teller.

During the evening, having a glass of wine and enjoying some jazz music in the pension.s lounge is a treat that everybody will enjoy.

Also, even though the property is in the middle of the city, the rooms are very quiet.

Amazing experience

When we arrived we felt like we were under a spell and transferred into a fairy-tale  - beautiful smell of coffee combined with a note of perfume, jazz music, very cozy atmosphere, hosts were very welcoming and made us feel like at home. 
The wine-bar had rare wines - each of them with a story told by our host.
We were very impressed that in the room we found fresh flowers and fruits, chocolate - not something fancy, but we were very impressed by this - this added a very personal touch to the room.
Breakfast was also amazing - no buffet - all prepared especially for each guest, fresh smoothie, Turkish coffee served in china, crystal balls for the salad - absolutely fancy and stylish.
The host is amazing, very passionate about his property, with of of interesting life stories - we will be delighted to be his guests again and again :)

שהינו במלון לילה אחד בחודש יולי 2016 ,פנסיון  יפיפה , חדר הארחה מלא בכורסאות עור מפנקות, שולחן סנוקר מזמין למשחק , בעל המלון עושה מאמצים רבים לשרת את אורחיו, אפילו הקפיץ אותנו בערב למסעדה לא.ערב. חדר ענק, אפשר להגדיר אותו כסוויטה, מקלחת נקייה ומאובזרת כנדרש . ארוחת בוקר מגוונת וטעימה. מרחק הליכה ממרכז העיירה.

We were at the hotel One night  in July 2016, a beautiful pension, guest room full of luxurious leather chairs, a pool table invites to the game, the hotel owner is making great efforts to serve the guests, even startled us dinner in the city center. Huge room, you can set it up suites, shower clean and properly equipped. Breakfast varied and delicious. Walking distance from the town center

Pleasant Pension

I'll keep it short.  It is great place to stay!  Probably the best in my 40 years of motorcycling in USA and Europe.  Great location and hosts were fabulous. Great bar and wine selections.  They would not let me go out for dinner and served me something special. (normally breakfast only).  My first trip to Romania...If I ever come back...I will be here.  Bob, MIchigan, USA

Fantastic  it would be a 20 on a 1 to 10

I've spent just one night in the pension, enough to make me want to come back in a couple of weeks.  Mr. Bosancu is a wonderful host and you'll find easily in his words his passion in having guests. My stay was too short to taste all the special treatments he prepared for tourist but I've been lucky of drinking turkish cofee, playing pool with Mr. Bosancu and listening good music. The atmosphere is one of 30's, with comfy furniture, attention payed to details in every corner. Fresh flowers everywhere, even in my room and bathroom. Standard rooms are very large, fitted with everything you might need, even chocolate, candies and fresh fruits as welcome. Luxury rooms are even better for less than 10 euro more. Mrs Florica took care of us and our boy in a great manner. Very quiet surroundings, the place is 5min walk to the center. Private parking. Bycicles to ride. Breakfast was excellent, fresh made specialities from local cuisine and fresh juice. I really have nothing to complain, I've felt wonderful to stay there. Warm water comes in minutes of waiting as someone wrote above but you can use this minutes to watch the lanscape or have a cofee and a pleasant talk with the hosts. Came tourist, left friends. In the morning of leaving I called 5 couples of friends who easily agreed to come and spend a couple of days at the pension. Mr. Bosancu, here we go!
