We spent a weekend in this hotel and we liked it. The room was essential but clean and in a very good state. The bathroom is even better and the location is fantastic, in front of the beach.
Moreover, also parking was included.
The only point that needs improvement is wi-fi.

Good Place to go

Friendly staff, impeccable cleanliness. Close to the beach, restaurants and shops. Some things need to be updated (such as a refrigerator) because they have traces of normal aging. But in general, the conditions are good compared to the price.

Stayed here with my fiancée for 5 nights. We are really pleased with the location, room and the staff are super friendly!  You can see the beach from the room (if you have a seaside balcony - recommend room 8B), and the beach there is super good! A super market at the bottom and some restaurants in the neighborhood! 

Will come back! 

Vacay stay

This is a very pleasant and well maintained set of one room apartments very close to the beach in North Mamaia. The hotel owner is incredibly obliging and the cleaning staff seem to be available almost all day to tidy the room. The air conditioning works well and the tv reception is good with a full range of cable channels late in the evening. Two of us were on a top floor flat and two on a bottom floor flat. The top floor flat, despite being behind the sea facing block still had good views to the left and right of the sea. Nearby are several beach bars and restaurants which serve grilled food and pizzas. 

Personally I have a strong distaste for trance music playing out over the beach all day long but I think I’m the exception as the beach is chilled and full of a diverse mix of families and young couples. But not so crowded as to feel you’re engulfed, unlike nearby Mamaia. It can get very windy and there are sometimes downpours of rain that take a couple of days to drain from the paths, but as you’re by the beach to get wet this isn’t a problem.

The roads from the highway are still undeveloped and quite bumpy so be careful if you have a small car.

This is a terrific little hotel if you are on a budget and want a Western European quality of apartment while chilling near the Black Sea. 

Family break by the Black Sea

The very large bed 180x200, the firm mattress, even the pillow was perfect, and that's hard to find at a hotel. The distance to the beach is 20 meters. the distance to the sea line is 50 meters. highly polite and interested staff to solve any problem. the room is about 25 square meters with smart flat screen TV, AC, refrigerator. The bathroom is new and modern. in the area there are some terraces and shops where you can buy the necessary ones.

Great!

The rooms are new, very clean, good size. The resort is very well positioned 50 meters from the beach. You can find around the resort good restaurants. The resort is only accommodation, no breakfast. 
We had some problems with pricing. We have negotiated with the owner a price and then after one day of accommodation he changed his mind and increased the price even above his prices on booking.com.

Went for Sunwaves, came back with ONE BIG love for Romania. I'm definitely coming back. Johnny (the owner/manager/king) is one of the best hosts I've ever met. Essentially the king of SERVICE. You'll never be disappointed.
