Hotel Plutitor Pelican Tour

We have been in August 2014 with family and friends in the Danube Delta, staying and eating at the floating hotel. It is the kind of hotel where you can get a real delta feeling- close to nature, on the water. The hotel has few rooms, 4 or 5, not hot luxury, rather a clean, neat and small place, with private bathroom. You should not spend too much time anyhow in your room as there are many places to visit around, so it really was fit fir purpose. The food was cooked there, tasty and a lot of fish, that we specially asked for. The tours in the Delta were just gorgeous, this was my 5th time in the Delta, but by far was the best - we could see all types of animals around. Only us were on the ship or hotel, so sipping a good wine in good company and with great view - priceless. The owners were really friendly. All in all, not a 5 star boat, but excellent place to be:)
