It’s close to the old town , good location . But the food choice is very bad ... on weekend they have almost closed restaurant.. it’s ok for budget travel was f you get a good deal on the rent . 
Opp to a park

Small , not a good food choice

I stayed at this hotel a few years ago, because I did not find anything else.

I can not say that I liked it .. very little reception, the smell in the room is a little unpleasant, I think of furniture or carpet, the small bathroom .. the only advantage is the street position.

Anyway, I would not come back.Sorry.

A good position

This hotel has two kinds of rooms, a 3 star standard and superior ones. If you want a normal experience for a three star hotel choose superior or stay away, otherwise you will find yourself in a comunist hotel with a small renovation in 2007. 

One star because:
- very cold rooom in april
- 2007 cheap mattress
- weak wi-fi signal in room 305
- noisy room, I thing it was from heating system (not AC, because you will not benefit from this service out of the season)
- no slippers and a few other things (please check my pictures)

Stay AWAY

I am a local who's now an expat. I knew this hotel from the outside for many many years but I had no idea it offers such good services for the price you pay. The room very clean, there's everything you might need (except pressing iron  - which you can just ask for and they'll bring it for you), they have laundry services (indispensable in the summer time when you're staying for more than a couple of days), breakfast has something for everyone and the staff is very helpful and friendly. I also had dinner once in the hotel restaurant and it was delicious. The only minuses I could notice were, indeed, an unfortunately small elevator and the shower pressure. 
Without meaning to brag, I've been around my fair share of hotels around the world and this one was better than many from which one would have higher expectations, given their brand name. I will go back whenever I'm in the city. 

Pleasantly surprised 

We stayed at the hotel for two night and it was great. We had a superior room with Twin beds. The room was clean and the bathroom had bathtub with jacuzzi. The breakfast was great, it had everything needed, from yougurt to cereală, sausages, eggs etc.
