I recommend this beautiful small place. Very clean and modern. Rooms are big and bed is comfortable. 5 min walk to the center of Brasov which is beautiful. The breakfast is à la carte and is so good. Different from the usual buffet. You have a nice view from the hotel.

relatively new hotel, located in a good area, close to all the attractions of the city. the rooms are spacious and clean. even if the price is not low for one night, we felt good and will come back With pleasure

My family and I stayed here for 3 nights during Orthodox Easter weekend. UpperHouse Boutique Hotel was recommended to us, and it fully lived up to and exceeded expectations. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

The hotel is very clean and has a modern design. There are no lace doilies or knick knacks. I loved the mixture of neutral colors and wood and tiles. We reserved 2 different rooms because there were 5 members in our family, and our rate included breakfast. We had the Executive Suite with Balcony and the Standard Double Room. The Executive Suite had a living room with a sofa bed. Both hotel rooms were in the main building as reception and the breakfast area. There was generous closet space and heated floors in the bathroom. 

The breakfast area is lovely. There is a small patio for with a few small tables for outdoor dining, although when we were there it was too cold and everyone ate breakfast indoors. A breakfast menu is provided and guests may select an item on the menu from about 8 selections. I loved that there were so many poached egg options, and my children loved the yogurt parfaits with toast. 

Staff members were  very friendly. Iustina and the kind and friendly lady who worked on Orthodox Easter (I’m sorry I cannot recall her name) at the front desk were outstanding. They researched restaurant recommendations for Orthodox Easter Sunday dinner and helped resolve an issue with our reservation that was our fault. It was easy to communicate with UpperHouse via email and over the phone, and I would always receive prompt replies. 

The location is outstanding. It’s an easy 15 minute walk to the old town square. It’s an easy 3 minute walk to a fun children’s playground. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the teleferic base. The hotel sits directly on a walking bath at the base of the mountain and it’s lovely for a walk, and you can turn around at the end and come back.

There aren’t any negatives- I really enjoyed staying here.

Clean, Modern, Great Breakfast, Excellent Location

Stayed for three nights. Excelent service and friendly staff. The breakfast is very good but there is a lack of variety, 80% of the menu is based around eggs, it would be nice to have some alternatives (eg: english breakfast, something with avocado, maybe some pancakes).

The rooms are as clean as possible, spacious, modern and have window shutters and blackout drapes (perfect for someone like me who can't sleep if there's any light in the room).

The bathroom had heated tiles (amazing feeling coming out of the shower). But the shower head itself is kinda cheap.

All in all, I would definitely stay here again!

We booked a room with city view and a balcony and it was the best choice. The room was spacious, clean, modern and the bathroom had everything you needed. Breakfast has multiple choices so you can find something you like (even for vegetarians). I loved everything in this hotel. Worth the stay!

Amazing!

Very nice, clean and modern rooms, with all needed facilities. Staff was also friendly and helpful. The breakfast was just amazing, with a multitude of options to choose from, all of them being very tasty. The hotel is also close to the old city area (10 to 15 minutes walk).

We stayed here for our final two nights in Romania for our visit to Brasov. For first time visitors, Sat Nav is essential to find the property otherwise navigation could be very difficult. The hotel has ten car designated parking spaces, five in front of the hotel and a further five a little down the road so there was always available space during our stay. This was a great benefit as street car parking is very difficult. Location is good. It is around a ten-minute walk to the main square but very quiet at night away from traffic.
We booked a junior suite which had a small separate lounge area plus bedroom and bathroom. It was located in a separate building from the main hotel and looked to be much older in styling than the remainder of the hotel. Very good city views from the balcony. Everything in the room was good apart from the shower tiling in the bathroom which was in urgent need of refurbishment. This was the most expensive hotel on our trip, so this aspect was a little disappointing.
Breakfast is taken in the main hotel, and you choose from a number of options.  It consists of one plate, mostly egg based plus some garnish. Drinks and juice available separately, limited cereal options both very sweet plus small pieces of cake. From our point of view and compared to other hotels during our stay, we didn’t find this a particularly substantial breakfast and we don’t have large appetites.
On balance the positive aspects outweighed the negatives, and we regarded it as a good base to explore Brasov but the hotel was not the five stars we expected.

Outstanding boutique hotel in brasov

Great location, just under Tampa mountain and a few minutes walk to the old town city square. Close to all the main tourist attractions yet located in a quiet spot. Has a beautiful view of the old Town. The staff were very kind and helpful. The interior of our room was modern and clean. We traveled with a teenager and a child and it was spacious enough for all of us. Their breakfasts were great and the dining room also has a great view of the city. Absolutely recommend!!
