After having to reschedule three times over the past 15 months due to COVID, we finally made it!  Betsy was fantastic to work with through it all. The location cannot be beat!  So convenient to walk to attractions and restaurants. My family of 4 stayed in La Puerta and loved the historic charm!  We felt very safe and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Don’t hesitate to book with Betsy!

Historic charm in great location

Couldn't have asked for a better location in Old San Juan. Walking distance to the best restaurants, bars, and shops. Very old building makes you think it's the 1800's. Had an indoor patio. Manager/owner Betsy has a shop nearby and was very helpful. If in Old San Juan again it will be in the Casablanca apartment. They do need to stock coffee & filters. The bare amenities was the only drawback, and Betsy made them appear with a phone call.

Great Apartments

We stayed in La Puerta for a week.  It was exactly as described. Perfect location. We walked everywhere in San Juan.  When we went out of San Juan, we just took an Uber. It was clean and comfortable.  The bed was super comfy. It was my 3rd time in Puerto Rico and my cousin's first time. She cannot wait to go back! Betsy, the owner was great and answered any questions we had.  Do yourself a favor and stay here. You won't regret it!

Just like home.

My wife and I have stayed here several times over the years. Our most recent trip was for our anniversary.  We always stay in Casablanca, but the other apts all look beautiful.  Betsy,the owner,  is always there if you need her.  The apt has an atrium with an open 100 ft high ceiling.  It's so peaceful.   The AC is ice cold.  The kitchen is fully equipped and bed is very comfortable.   Do yourself a favor,  and book here.

The place to stay for a carefree romantic visit to San Juan PR.

We stayed in the Casablanca Apartment and just loved it. I loved the Indoor patio and layout of the apartment.  The location was perfect close to the water and some nice restaurants.  Lots of trees on the street it's location on.  Just a great place to stay while in Old San Juan.

Great location

We stayed at Casa Blanca for a week.  It was exactly as described on their website.  Comfortable, clean and the location is perfect..The owner Betsy, could be reached at any time by just texting her. Near the "Puerta de San Juan", just a minute away, for beautiful sights and sounds of the Ocean. Two thumbs up!.

Very nice and comfortable!

We were exhausted when we opened the door but immediately just overwhelmed at the cozy beautiful apartment. Hosts were just delightful and able to accommodate our needs when fights were changed dramatically. We are just grateful that we were able to stay two nights after all. Perfect location close to museums, forts, restaurants. The bath is modern, towels and sheets perfect. I can't say enough good things about Caleta 64.


Amazing: Classic and modern in the old city

I love this place I stayed in the downstairs apartment streetside the bed was comfortable I love the fact that I could open the doors and just see people walk by it's only blocks from restaurants and the supermarket and the national Park.the staff was excellent and answered any questions before the trip the room was clean cozy and comfortable I stayed for a week and a half so it was nice to have a full stove and oven to cook on and it had the largest air conditioning unit I ever seen cools the place down in a matter of minutes I give this bad boy four stars out of five

Loved it

This apartment building is in the perfect location; we loved being walking distance to everything in VSJ. That being said, the listing photos for the Casablanca apartment need to be updated to better show what is meant by the "open patio"- while authentic to VSJ, it is not clear from the listing that it is open air and rain will pour into the space and you cannot walk in the apartment without getting wet feet. This also causes the apartment to have a sickeningly musty smell. The open air patio also means there is no noise barrier to the very festive night life and nearby restaurants in VSJ. Overall, because of the smell and noise, my travel partner and I did not sleep very well. The openness also meant that there were cockroaches found in the apartment's kitchen.

The property management team is a husband and wife. While I found my AirBnB correspondence with the wife to be very friendly and helpful, when her husband came to replace a blown light bulb he was verbally aggressive which made me and my travel partner feel uncomfortable and unsafe. His behavior and the misrepresentation of the open air space would make me hesitant to recommend this apartment to others.
