First time to Porto and this place didn't disappoint! They allowed us to check in early. Small room but comfy beds, nice shower. We were on the second floor facing the street and could hear the trains go by. I loved the ability to open the window. There is, however, construction going on across the street and it's very loud. The reception people were so nice. They repeatedly gave me ice in a bucket to take to the room. Just wish they had glass glasses (not paper ones) There are 2 restaurants we visited when there. When you step out of hotel, turn left and go 2 blocks. One is an Italian restaurant (yummy lasagna) and the other is a pub called J' agora. We went during happy hour and had drinks and apps. The train system is right across the street and is very efficient to take you into downtown Porto for cheap!
