Please note I did not get a chance to stay here. but was booked to stay.  Our flights got canceled and we weren't able to get on a flight until days later, which was going to shorten our time and not allowing us to go. We were in contact w property.  After back and forth, they stated that we were going to be able to rebook us for low season.  They ran a promotion and were able to get other people to book their property. So they refunded 450 euros out of about $1500 we paid.  When I reached out to them several times to rebook they never responded.  So traveler beware!

Unfortunate circumstances

Apartments are handed over by management company. In management of 6 apartments to the different addresses. Are nearby from each other. All overlooking the ocean. Everyone have the name. After reservation the link to payment, via the website of the company comes. A day before installation in apartments, will send you instructions for settling. Keys aren't necessary, you will be given the code from the keyboard on an entrance door. Us 9 persons. Took 2 apartments. Everyone on 4 persons. Apartments of "Jonathan" with an individual exit to the beach, the zone of a barbecue. They two-level. On 0 floor two bedrooms and a bathroom, on 1 floor the living room with kitchen and a bathroom. Apartments of Ashley overlooking the ocean, but you are divided by the road. At night, motorcyclists annoy. They too two-level. 1 floor) balcony sea view, two bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom, 2nd floor) living room. All apartments with good repair, modern furniture, kitchen with all necessary. There are conditioners, washing machines and drying the car. In apartments at the beach big humidity, wet things and bed linen. It is not wine of owners. It is a payment for desire to live at the beach.
It is good experience, I recommend.

Apartments are convenient for only 4 persons. "Jonathan" stated five-seater placement taking into account the child. But he slept in the room for ironing of linen and an entrance to a bathroom through its room. This room without windows and bad ventilation. Big humidity. 
And more important. In bathrooms of a door aren't closed on the lock. There are no keys.

Apartments sea view. Great option.

Possibly the nicest holiday rental I've ever stayed in.  Well located, beautifully furnished, very comfortable and spotless.  The kitchen was better stocked than my own.  Balcony in the front with a sea view, two terraces in the back with a BBQ and seating.  Ana was very kind and helpful and a phone call away.  The beach is right across the street.  There are a few small stores and a couple of restaurants within walking distance, but I recommend a car anywhere on the island.  Overall a great stay in a beautiful and relaxing part of the world.  I hope to return.

Excelente!  great view of the beach and close proximity. 
Had a great stay. Enjoyed having the balcony to unwind. 

Clean and sheets changed every day. Kitchen was clean and had everything  we needed.  Laundry and dryer machine was working well. Any issues or questions, was taken care of.  Owner lived close by and was easy to get a hold of.
Reasonable price and close to Ponta Delgada. 15-20mins from the airport and not far from many other beaches and towns.

Will return in the future and will recommend.

In addition to everything indicated by other comments, confirm the attentions of the cleaning lady, Ana and the owner Fernanda.During our stay, it coincided with the town's holidays, but at 12pm, all the music coming from the street disappeared.I recommend it for families or groups of 4 people; in addition, you can park the car across the street without any problems.

Very recommended apartment.

The apartment is very well kept, clean and comfortable.  The cleaner Ana was very helpful, even giving us a lift into town when our baby needed a doctor.

Ponta Delgarda, is quite a walk away, you definitely need a car.  However, as we discovered anywhere in the Azores is car dependant if you want a good holiday. We hired one later in the week.

As others have stated there are no toiletries. It would be nice to have some hand soap.  The supermarket is a short walk (10mins max), so easy to get supplied.  It took us  while to find this (and not listed on Google Maps), so, to help others.  Walk into the village (square with school, pharmacy and pub) and continue on the main road and there are two small supermarkets on the right-hand side.  The second one is better.  Continue further for the bakery (left-hand side of road -opens 8am).

Since, few people have mentioned the beech.  There are two beaches, one just below the apartment. The other is a 5min walk, just past the church and down the road.  The 2nd beach, is quite big and has a little cafe, pizza restaurant and surf shop.  There was also another beach restaurant that seemed to be closed for the Winter when we were there. Both have classic black sand of the Azores, looks a bit odd but soft to walk on. The surf looked superb if you are into that. The tide never quite comes all the way in so always plenty of beach.

If you had young kids like us, bring your own bucket, spade and ball as classic beach stuff impossible to buy anywhere. If you want a classic resort style experience then look outside of the Azores.  However, if like us you want somewhere relaxed and off the beaten track this is good.

Clean, comfortable apartment next to the beech

It's the best apartment I've ever seen. The living room in the attic is comfortable and with the shows I like it is you can go back to the various episodes of the series that I watched The rooms are comfortable The kitchen was modern and when there was an error in the oven the maid solved and said if the oven doesn't work come to my house for lunch

It's incredible.

Super modern apartments, with everything you need for a luxurious, comfortable and quiet stay. Wonderful views over the ocean. Near Ponta Delgada. Several beaches within a short walk. Very pleasant and modern decoration. I highly recommend.

What a wonderful stay!

Three large apartments (two bedrooms, a huge living room, a huge fully equipped kitchen, spacious bathroom) very clean. Quiet rooms. Beautiful view from the living room over the sea. The only criticism: why not have separate toilets in such a large apartment?

Beautiful apartment with modern and new style. Very clean apartment, towels for the beach too. On the terrace you can also make the grill. The view of the ocean is fabulous. We also met Anna who was very friendly
