We've been here for the third time and will come back again. The old owner was very nice and helpful - luckily enough for this wonderful place and the guests, the new one is really friendly and forthcoming as well. The breakfast is great, the rooms and the views really nice. It's located perfectly between the "city" and the hiking area. We enjoy our stay here every time!

Always a good choice!

I highly recomment Perla Sudetow in Karpacz. They have refurbished some  rooms which are really of 3 * hotel standard . Besides, the manager is extremely helpful and looks after his turists.

Fantastic budget accomodation for summer and winter stays!

The place is walking distance from the centre and all the restaurants/shops. Perhaps the decoration is somewhat basic and retro-90's but the place is super clean and well heated (we stayed in winter) and the rooms are spacious. Most importantly, the staff and the general manager are absolutely lovely and helpful, will do their best to answer any question and sort out any problem. Would come back for the excellent price/quality ratio.

Very good stay

Even though I've been to Karpacz couple of times, it was first time in this place.
Overall impressions were positives, but it could be better.

The facility consist of two buildings, nicely located on the steep hill.
One is considered hotel, other guesthouse, but I do not know the difference.
 
The biggest flaw is the parking in the upper building.
First you need to climb really steep hill road, perhaps even make a u-turn at the top and then get back to the gate, locked with the chain and lock.
If you are coming for few days and have no intention to drive a car, that's probably ok, but if you want to drive in and out every day, it's pretty inconvenient.
Also especially one side of the driveway is so steep that if you stop there and do not have 4x4 car you might get into trouble. I saw few cars really struggling.
So if you are planning to drive a car daily, I suggest to ask for parking at the lower building, which has automated gate and flat parking lot.

I'm not sure how is the parking handled at winter. It could be a challenge.

Rooms are a bit dated, but pretty well maintained. The furniture is not dedicated for hotels, but for home use, so some wear is visible. Overall ok, but do not expect 4* facility. Set your expectation to basic and you are ok. Also if your goal is not hotel room, but some hiking, you don't care so much about the room.

I tried to use hotel WiFi, but it didn't work, since I have unlimited worldwide data plan, I didn't care, but I'm sharing the info. Perhaps this is related to room location.

Breakfast is actually very good, with fresh vegetables, hot and cold sections. It starts pretty late - at 8:30am, so if you want to move early in the morning to the mountains, you need to forget your breakfast in the hotel.

Regarding the location, you can say it's not far from main street - probably less then 10 minutes walk and you need to walk there as there are no dining areas in close proximity. From the hotel, if you go up hill, it takes you about 15 minutes to reach chair lift to Kopa. Ensure at high season you are there no later then 9-9:30am as otherwise line is very long.

Also dining hint - if you don't feel like overcooked, all-day-long-boiled meet in the main street is a good option - check two restaurants - 'Chata Karkonoska' and 'U Petiego'.

Overall quite interesting facility and would stay there again, unless a better option would be available.
