I stayed here in August 2008, for a few days between arriving with a backpacker-type tour group from Quito and leaving with another for Santiago de Chile. It was a beautiful, traditional home in the quieter suburb of Barranco, which has grocery and eating places nearby and is still walking distance from the tourist centre of Miraflores. A small, friendly place, just right to have a community feel and to get to know other travellers.
