Illariy

We used Illariy as our base while in Cusco and strayed several nights over the 3 weeks we had in Peru. For the price, it was well worth it. We had our own ensuite bathroom, the sheets and towels were changed every 2 days, and although not central, a bus into town was $0.70 soles or $5-6 soles for a taxi and took 20-25 minutes. The free wifi was fast and available in all rooms. There was some construction noise early morning and the rooms aren't completely sound proof but we were exhausted and as the beds are comfortable, it meant we could get back to sleep easily. Fernado was extremely helpful, giving us great advice on where to eat locally, how to get to town, about taxis, where to do laundry and what to do in the greater Cusco area. He also provides breakfast for $9 soles and airport pick ups for $12 soles. Also we were able to leave some of our gear at the guest house while we were doing few day long tours like Machu Picchu so we didn't have to lug all of it with us! We would definitely recommend Illariy while staying in Cusco.
