a really cool and quiet place not far from center city. Friendly staff, good price and very confortable big tent with hot shower, tv and natural surrounding. Recommanded for a 2 or 3 days trip to el vallee

One of the nicest places we stayed on in Panama, also because it had a fair price for what you get. Its a small place with big tents with big private batrooms attached. It was clean and well maintained and every tent as a fridge. Its a 5 minute walk to the center and on the way to the very nice indian dormira walk. Very nice owner with a lot of information.

My husband and I really enjoyed our night at Kare Lodge.  The tent was very comfortable and very well-equipped.  Konrad was great and full of advice for things to do in Valle Anton.  We had a fun time grilling with the fire pit too!

We stayed at Kare Lodge in March 2016 and really liked our experience.  The camp tents are a bit rustic but very comfortable.  The bathroom is sizeable and I would suggest taking showers in the day, because the water felt MUCH warmer then.

Conrad, help us with activities to do in El Valle, the province of Cocle and the Azuero peninsula.  We was a wealth of information about Panama in general.  He even had a local direct us to a somewhat hidden waterfall.

The only reasons why I can't give the the camping grounds a 5 is because breakfast was not included (due to a fumigation issue?) and the lack of hot water.

Great place to stay!

Great Lodge and Conrad is very helpful

Firstly I must say that Konrad and his brother are charming young men but 'Glamping' it is not.  The 'Glam' bit seems to be a bit of an exaggeration. Kare Lodge is, in fact, half a dozen tents in a fenced compound next to a busy road. Although there is a flat screen tv and a small fridge there are no other comforts to speak of. Just one light bulb in the bedroom area and another in the bathroom. Not a mirror to be seen, nowhere to put clothes and very little space to move around.  I suppose it didn't help that we stayed on the night of Jan 1st when the local people were partying until the early hours of the morning along with firecrackers etc. I think that young people would love this place but as we are both in our sixties it was just a bit too basic for us.  We had booked for four nights but only stayed one.  I wish the brothers well but this review is just a warning to older people to be realistic about what they are getting.
