First - if you drive quickly run in and get a parking pass for the car park (leaving someone with your car if possible). This hotel is in the middle of the town centre - just opposite a large shopping centre (actually opposite TGI Fridays!) but slightly down the slope. Firsty figure out which door to go in - we chose the restaurant door and think this is correct. Check in was very quick and easy. The rooms are a delight with all expected facilities and if you are on the outward side you have an uninterrupted view towards the far off mountains. The rooms have double beds with single duvets which I found very comfortable. My bathroom had a wet room type shower which was hot and powerful. There are toiletries there for those who forget! Breakfast is served in the restaurant/bakery and is plentiful - a large part home made - bread, muesli, biscuits (cookies) and etc. You can ask for egg and bacon - not an extra. Quick friendly service. Below the reataurant there is a brewery and bar which serves food in the evenings and in warmer weather has an outdoor area. Check out was quick and painless. A completely different stay from your chain hotel monoliths and it would be a pleasure to return. And yes the rooms have no TV - didn't miss it!!
