Such a cute space, and everyone was kind and helpful!

This is a super charming place to stay, and perfecly situated not far from Hemsedal. The surroundings are authentic, yet with all facilities on point, and the staff is very welcoming and service-minded. I can warmly recommend this place.

Beautiful setting, walking distance to town.

We stayed one night at Hesla gård and left with a really good experience. The room was well taken care of and the overall setting at the farm was great. We woke up to waffles and coffee and some really friendly hosts, will be coming back if in the area!

Farm hotel

A very interesting location. We didn’t stay in one of the old buildings instead a more modern old home. It was well appointed, spacious and comfortable! Very happy with our stay!

Historical Lidging!

We stayed in the basic room which was nice but could have been cleaned better. The personnel is really nice and helpful. Our room was located fairly close to the road and was not very well insulated so it was a bit noisy time to time. Considering the price it was good. For some extra money you can get another type of rooms which looked really nice and folkloristic. Located in strategic position.

Nice

Probably my worst paid accommodation ever. I booked and paid my room approx 1 month ago based on pictures and reviews. When I arrived they’d lost my reservation. Got a room after all, but it looked nowhere close to pictures presented at Hotels.com, The standard was completely worn down.It was in the basement of a tired house located 150-200 yards from the reception at Hesla Gard , and in between was a construction site. The house was maybe from the sixties and, and I don’t think much has been done to the apartment since. There was a TV, but it didn’t work. It was cold and I tried to put on some heat, but the only thing that worked was the bathroom floor. I only checked glasses in the kitchen and they were so dirty that nobody would consider dinking from them without doing the dishes first. Furniture was old and tired, but nothing like antiques. Bathroom carpet so old and dirty that it should be burned. They have a kitchen, but had no place for me for dinner. Breakfast was similar but, but I was offed a ”quick breakfast “ consisting of coffee and a waffle. I skipped it and will definitely drive past this place next time.
