A lovely place to stay. A warm welcome from Tina. The cookies were divine and a very nice touch. Felt very spoilt at Barrowmeade the surroundings and accommodation were perfect. We wished we had booked for more than one night.

A haven of tranquility

We only stayed here one night, but it was a wonderful stay.  The hostess was very friendly and she bakes the best cookies.  There were fresh cookies waiting for us when we arrived.  There was also a very wide variety of coffee and teas.   The room is very spacious.  Bed can be made as a "king" or as  twin.  There is a couch and a smaller room ( large wardrobe ) with a fridge, microwave and nespresso coffee machine.  The outside area for the guest is lovely and we really enjoyed sitting here.  The bathroom is also perfectly furnished.  I can not fault anything.  We did not have breakfast, as we dont do a big breakfast, but the breakfast room looks lovely and the table was set lovely.  If we will go to Napier again, I will try to book this place again.  We live in New Zealand so it is a very good possibility.

in one word "PERFECT"

This is a wonderful B and B - spotlessly clean, equipped with everything needed, and oh so comfortable.  It's homely and the host is lovely.  The setting is very quiet.  Solo travellers could feel very safe here.  We would happily return.

Faultless

Tina welcomed us when we arrived.  The room is quite separate from the rest of the house so is very private.  The room opens on to a lovely garden and sitting area.  The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept on and the facilities in the room were first class.  Tina supplied a large range of teas, coffee, sugar, milk and some fabulous home cooked treats.  The decor is art deco and it felt authentic.  The room was super quiet and so comfortable.  It was a shame to leave.

Extremely comfortable and quiet.

A thoroughly charming stay at this B&B on the outskirts of Napier. We had a large spotless room overlooking a well-tended garden. A fully stocked tea-tray with home made brownies welcomed us. The breakfast was amazing with freshly squeezed orange juice, fruit, asparagus and an omelet. The host went out of her way to accommodate our dietary preferences. We were pleasantly surprised to find smoked salmon alongside our omelets.

Fabulous B&B set in a 40's style bungalow

Lovely place to stay hosts very friendly and welcoming. Very comfortable bed and cosy room. The parking room is quite tight particularly if you have a large vehicle and the TV remote had a kind of its own but other than that I give it a fabulous! 

1940's bungalow fitted out with 1930/40's decor and fixtures. Good quality huge bed and modern bathroom.  Private sun deck for guests and only one room let at this property. Homemade cakes for afternoon tea and excellent cooked breakfast.  Although located in Taradale (suburb of Napier) property is easy to find. Approx 10 mins drive.  Convenient for local wineries.

Excellent Art Deco style B&B

What a lovely place, it was artfully decorated. So well maintained house and lovely host.
The room was very nice and cozy, had all the amenities you want. Such a beautiful interior. We stayed there only for a night but it was amazing. Place was a bit far from City but we had car with us to drive around so it was not a problem.
House garden had this avocado trees, so cool it was for me😍
The breakfast which she prepared was amazing and so delicious, just like my mom does. Thanks for such a warm welcome
