as soon as we arrived we were treated with friendliness. It was raining but we quickly entered the property and tea and freshly made cake was available. Lizzie had to go out but we had a great chat with John and then Lizzie returned and the chat continued. We were the only guests staying and so got a very personal service. They advised of places to eat which was great. The breakfast was the best we had on our 4 week trip around New Zealand. We left feeling they had made us very welcome into their home and we would definitely stay here again if we come back to this part of the world. Derek & Julia from Manchester england
