Piekel is a wonderful hostess! She's very kind, helpful, and prompt with all communications. I've had the pleasure of using her room as an overnight, and as a backdrop for portraits. The decor is just lovely!

The location of the property is also very nice, with plenty of parking available on the street. (paid though) 

Adorable Eclectic Chic

We stayed in Piekels B&B for one night and it was really a pleasant experience. We were lucky enough not to experience the traffic noise mentioned in the other reviews but she doe provide earplugs should it occur. The apartment is immaculately clean and it is tastefully decorated; she should post her photos on Pinterest! Everything is very straightforward, if Piekel can't meet you in person she keeps in good contact, and everything is at your disposal (Internet, kitchen, tv). We loved that it was only a 10 min walk to the centre so we could leave the car parked up for the evening. Would recommend to anyone looking for a unique accommodation in Maastricht.

Cosy, welcoming, and a stone's throw from Maastricht Centre

We stayed 4 nights in apartment 2,at top of house. Very clean and tastefully decorated. Lovely bathroom and adequate kitchen. Bed comfortable . Only negative was the traffic noise as it's on  main road and the bedroom faces the road. Couldn't leave a window open at night and it got quite warm. Shame really. Earplugs were provided though !

Characterful and comfortable but traffic noise a problem

B & B very nice and clean, just a few minutes walk to the city center and excellent restaurants.
Nice spacious rooms, all decorated with the enchanting Miss Slors.
Prices in the media and still honest and treatment received for the position.
Council to those who want an informal but very very comfortable.

I went to Maastricht with a friend, during kingsday. We took bicycles from home. This was necessary because the centre of Maastricht is a 30 min walk. There is a supermarket nearby. (5 min. Walk.)

Piekel, the hostess was very kind and gave us some quick info about the B&B and Maastricht. She gave us her number in case we had some questions. We didn't see her until Sunday. 
We got the appartement on the highest floor. We had a great Saturday at Maastricht with live performances and street artists. We cooked dinner at the B&B (kitchen and basic ingredients present). Took a bath in the nostalgic bath tub. 
We went out till 4am and slept very well. Great bed and room. There's also a TV and good window view.
