De Heeren Hoeve

We spent 3 restful nights in this B and B with the most welcoming hosts who delivered a delicious and varied fresh breakfast every morning. Our accommodation was beautiful and thoughtfully prepared, with plenty of places for sitting outside when the weather was nice. What was also lovely was how quiet it was and with an extremely comfy bed we had excellent sleeps throughout our stay. The property was only 5 mins drive to Zieriksee, and 10 mins drive to the Watersnood museum which was a surprisingly fascinating place and perfect when the weather turned. We could also hire bikes at a competitive price and enjoyed a lovely car free day exploring lovely canals and beaches. The best feature of our stay was our welcome by the owners who were brilliant at speaking English, had prepared lots of information about the area for us, and who were extremely helpful. Don't miss the art studio adjoining the property too, which contains some wonderful things, many of which you want to take home!!!
