Rooms were nice and clean, and the owner is very helpful, he booked boat tickets to Mandalay for us and gave us a lift for free to the boat in the morning. A bit far away from the road with most of the restaurants though.

Very friendly

I arrived to the old city and didn't know where to stay, because New Bagan was not an option for me. I always prefer to stay with the local people rather than tourists to fell the vibe of the place. This hotel was very clean, people extremely friendly and it was easy to rent a bike and ride from there to the temples.

Great place to stay when visiting the temples

Chambre plus que sombre (malgré une petit fenêtre - je n'imagine pas les chambres sans fenêtre), pas de ménage fait, un wifi qui n'est pas "connecté" au routeur (donc ne perdez pas votre temps), un savon dans la sdb déjà utilisé, des trous/ tâches dans les draps, pas de bouteilles d'eau, pas une personne qui parle un anglais tout juste "correct" (voire suffisant)... Ok, pas la mort, on peut vivre avec tout ca, mais pour une chambre individuelle plus chère que d'autres endroit comparable (dans le Myanmar comme à Bagan), c'est plutôt honteux! 
Le gérant - qu'on a l'impression de déranger à chaque question (tellement dommage et surtout tellement en contraste avec toutes les personnes qu'on rencontre dans ce beau pays!) - m'a vendu un billet de bus, et m'a bien arnaquer au passage en me disant qu'il n'y avait pas d'autres options alors que j'ai appris à l'arrivée par d'autres voyageurs que j'aurais pu avoir d'autres cars/ horaires comme je l'avais demandé... 
alors autant, on peut faire une croix sur le confort, mais un sourire sur 3j, et éviter l'arnaque, ca me semble être le minimum!

J'ai fait beaucoup de chouettes expériences pendant mon voyage au Myanmar, mais clairement cet hôtel est celui que je déconseille fortement !

An extremely dark room (even though there was a small window - I cannot even imagine the ones which don't haven any), no housekeeping, a wifi which is not connected to the router - so there is no need loosing your time trying to connect to the wifi - a soap in the bathroom which was already used, some dirty marks, holes, no water in the room, no single person in the entire hotel who speaks a correct English (of course I have a low level in mind!)... okkk you can live with that. 
But the fact that hotel guy "lied" about he bus I wanted to take by telling me there is only one option to get to Kalaw/ Inle (which I learned after that was not true) and by selling me a bus ticket more expensive than it should have been was NOT FINE. 
Also when you meet so many nice people, who just smile all the time and try to help as soon as they can it is pretty annoying and irritating not to see the guy smiling once in 3 days and having the feeling that you disturb each time you have a question. 
Also, compared to all the rooms I had in other places in Myanmar, the price of the room was really too high... in a few words - a shame! 
You can forget about comfort, but you shouldn't forget about respect and friendliness. I would recommend a lot of places I have been to in this beautiful country, but if there is one address I do not recommended... it is definitely Eden Motel I!

Très décevant avec gérant qui tend vers l'arnaqueur / Very disappointing and scammer

The rooms are not convenient and sometimes even without windows. A\C and hot shower worked until they switched off electricity during the night. Nobody informs you about the practice. The breakfast is average and staff ok. Heard that owner is sometimes creative about the prices!

Bad value for money

Don't do it!!!
Nothing is in line with the description, NOTHING!:
No TV (I don't need it anyway, but be consistent!), very poor wifi.
No toiletries
No window in the room and no place to put your things (even a hook in the wall).
We stayed 3 days and nobody even bothered to change our towels.
Staff is rude (on our last day the guy woke us up at 7.45 am and asked to check out immediately – only the intervention with his boss helped and finally we left at usual 12 am). They don't speak ANY English.
