This was a very memorable part of my trip not only for the beauty of Dades and the comfort of Kasbah Tiwafen but  because I encountered some personal issues at the time and found myself in the middle of the night needing some urgent help. They staff at the Kaswah was so wonderful specially Mouaad who went out of his way to make sure I was well taken care of. I will never forget Tiwafen's hospitality and support during my trip. The food was delicious specially the three course meal dinner and the terrace with views was just great. The beds are super comfortable and the rustic style of the Kasbah really takes you to another time and place. 100% recommended. I for sure will return to enjoy my stay at Dades again.

A very memorable stay

We traveled to Morocco just after the pandemic restrictions had been lifted and there weren't any other visitors when we stayed at Kasbah Tifawen. However the service was good and the food was surprisingly good considering we weren't in a big city. It was quite cold at night which is standard for March.

Great food

The rooms were large and clean. Easy check in and check. out with wifi access. The food was very tasty and had excellent presentation. Overall a great stay with friendly staff. The facility had hot water and clean towels.

Amazing clean place with a great view of the gorge

What a place! What a setting! Magnificent views, spacious rooms, large beds, excellent food, The best host. The make sure I received a ring I left behind, by sending a driver an hour away to our minibus. Eternally grateful.
The food was another fantastic surprise, so tasty and original.

Both my mother and I had an amazing experience in this hotel. People working there are very welcoming. Also the place is well located with a beautiful view for sunset and sunrise. Food was good and bedroom clean.

Amazing welcome and breathtaking view 

The views from the hotel are amazing. The rooms are very big and they were clean. Nothing to complain. On our arrival we were offered tea. The dinner was a surprise as it was very good so we were very looking forward for breakfast but it was disappointing and very poor. The Altas studios are at an extra cost.  

Breathtaking views

Amazing view. Nice food( we had breakfast and dinner). The room was more than enough for 3 and it was really clean and smelled really nice. The shower was big but the water had litlle pressure which was not a big deal to us, it served its purpose. All the workers were very kind to us .Totally Recommend!!!

On night stay with great dinner (congrats again to the chef!), fair breakfast and a very friendly service. Location is good for pictures maybe even some hikes. Also you have a good view to the local village and daily life. The room was comparably clean and the atmosphere was fine. Would stay there again. 

Nice view, great dinner, friendly service

A tour we took had us stay here.  When you walk in the view is pretty cool off of the patio.  The rooms were large and clean, and the shower was hot.  The service was good and fast.  The biggest surprise was the meal that was included was prepared by Chef Hamou and wasn't the typical tajine or other dishes we had through the entire country.  This was a meal prepared by a chef with quality ingredients, put on the plate to look nice and professional, and served in courses.

Some of the things which I wouldn't rate as well:
  - Internet connection wasn't good.  On the patio you have to find the right spots (closest to the reception), we had a room right below the patio and had no signal in the room.

  - The bathroom was small and odd, but worked.

  - There is nothing to walk to see in the evenings anywhere near.  You have to call for a cab if you want to go to town.  Literally to walk to, but it looked like a bar is being built next door.

  - Dinner is served at 9:30pm.  I'm glad we waited though. But too late for most Westerners, and I overheard other guests commenting the same while we were all on the patio waiting for dinner.

Great Evening Meal, Average Stay Otherwise

Nice staff, beautiful view of valley, hiking trail to stream, porches, good food, great showers.  Hard beds but its africa...sorta the norm here.  Definitely a good place for a quick night on the desert tour.
