E-102 has a beautiful view but the plumbing was in terrible shape. The toilet seat fell off when I first sat on it, and I only weigh about 120 pounds. As of day 2 I still don’t have a toilet seat. 
Then I took a shower in the master bath and I could not get hot water. Don’t stay in this unit.

Poor plumbing

I booked with airbnb so I do want to say that the actual owner of the condo and airbnb were great. I had stayed at this place before and felt it would be safe to go with familiar grounds. First time  I stayed I noticed the security guards following us around but didn’t think much of it. Later that night they knocked on our door saying to turn down the music but all we had was the living room tv on. So we were confused by it but turned off the tv to avoid issues. This last time I stayed I took my children with us my daughter and I were harassed by a security questioning us and speaking very rudely to me. My husband was at the pool and wasn’t able to help. My daughter sacredly ran to get help. This issue was all because they saw us hanging out with a dog on the beach and followed me and my daughter to our room as I was taking her to use the restroom. They assumed I was keeping the dog in the room and didn’t even want to let me speak. ( I have evidence he was not staying with us at the resort) they did not allow me to close the door and I need to use the restroom. I felt harassed and afraid. My husband finally showed up and he took control as I was distraught. My children were afraid of this man. Who I found out he was actually the supervisor. He was being disrespectful and told us that us Americans think we can do whatever we want in Mexico. This trip was booked for my daughters 11th birthday. She just wanted to go to the beach. It has left such a horrible feeling in our stomachs we will no longer be visiting rocky point.

Harassment by security

Visited March 2020 & February 2022

As of writing this review, I’ve stayed in one of these condos twice, and I’ve absolutely loved it each time. The condo I stayed in is actually owned by a family friend (according to my parents haha) so mine may be a bit of a special circumstance. That being said, the condo was literally spotless, it smelled amazing (that fresh hotel smell but even better somehow), and the view of the ocean was beautiful. All the staff we talked to were super friendly, the pool was great, and even the architecture of the building itself was pretty enough that we took dozens of pictures.My only complaint was that the elevators were a bit sketch, but we were lucky enough to only be on the third floor so we just took the stairs the whole time. I really recommend!!

The nicest place I’ve ever stayed !

Worst experience in Mexico we’ve ever had. We’ve been coming down for years and la princesa/casa Blanca is the last place you should stay. Guard shack is looking for a reason to start problems. Grounds are dirty and unkept but try to keep up with the “resort” appeal. Elevator crashed into the wall, stopped and kept us in for an extended period of time… had to walk the stairs the remainder of the trip. Staff on site does not have any concern for what you have to say. This is an up and coming resort that is sub-par with safety and customer service. Not only would I recommend avoid buying here, I’d avoid staying at either location altogether.

Avoid Princesa and Casa Blanca

Room A201. The nauseating smells of someone bbq’ing with rubber tires, in room A102 below, distracted from the view on the patio.  The musty smell in the main bedroom went away when the A/C was operating.  A TV channel guide would have been helpful to find the 2 U.S. channels out of the 96 Mexico channels.  One hour spent trying to get the DVR player to work unsuccessfully.  A wonderful location if you have many children to compete for a spot in the pool.

Princesa is a lovely resort on the beach. Princesa is “low key” and family oriented. There are 3 pools, a clubhouse, a jacuzzi and a wonderful Cantina. The staff is friendly. The apartments are large and clean and the grounds are lovely and well maintained

Great place on the beach

I really liked the layout of our top floor condo. We had three teenagers and having an upstairs master with private balcony overlooking the pool was perfect. A small gym with a few machines and no weights but still, a gym.

Nice condo's, easily accessible and quiet. You need a car.

We have just finished a 5 day 4 night stay @ the Princesa and it was just wonderful . We rented privately a condo for three couples , two children. it was a three bedroom, two floors, two bathrooms, and two balconys, livingroom , kitchen and was so perfect. Beautfully funished and decorated, and might add reasonable. 
Very hard to come up with a negative, unless we complain about a remote control fan not working because we didn't  have a 9 volt battery for the remote........but that slight problem was soon remedied..   4 Large screen tv's.  Wifi in condo excellent.
Loved the bar resturant on site, again reasonable very. 
Access to all pools, beach, is so conveniet. Wading areas in pools for kids.....And closest to room just wonderful. The view from our balcony's of pools and ocean was to die for!!!
This was our second stay here, and 6th for another of the couples, and they all have nothing but good things to say about the Princesa de Penasco!!

AS CLOSE TO PERFECT AS IT GETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This experienced a was the worst in my life.   Princesa  peñasco is nasty old  and you can see the owners do not invest any money or paid for maintence .   Please if the owners see this review I think is not honest to male people paid and drive 10 /. 15 hours to get there than get in a room old and nasty please think about this some people worked for one or two years to go there .   I which olot peolpe read this review and do not take the risk .    Palomas is great .   If you budget is to paid  princesa than paid.   Peñasco del sol is olot better clean  good service

Happy vacations turn to horrible

I found this unit on vrbo and the owner was so easy to deal with! Lots of room and nice furniture, renovated bathrooms, TV's in the living room and both bedrooms, large balcony overlooking the beautiful pool areas and beach, extremely well-kept complex, very reasonable price and a little restaurant-bar, Colin's, about 100 steps away. I will never stay anywhere else in Rocky Point!
