This hotel is clean , hotel it is located on a hill away from the touristy area. A good amount of walking is required to get to Zicatela Beach where the nice beaches and dinning places .

The owner was an absolute Gem , she was very Accommodating and she was so friendly , we loved our stay in the Diamente suite and will return yet again , thank.you

I read good reviews on Casa Mia, and not just from the Expedia website, hence the reason I stayed here.  I upscaled my stay with the premium suite for the outstanding ocean view.  What I didn't know from my research, was how intense the noise would be from across the street!   The staff were friendly, and the hotel secure and clean.  The hotel location was close to restaurants, Playa Principal and the Night Market.  I am slightly under 6', but my feet would overhang on the bed.  The shower water would take a few minutes to heat up, while the air conditioner and the fridge worked well.  The view from the balcony was spectacular, and the hotel pool was refreshing. The noise prevent me from getting deep sleep.  I am happy that my last two nights in Puerto Escondido were spent at another hotel in Rinconada where I had two super quiet nights that yielded in deep sleep.

I liked the cleanliness. The staff were super friendly and helpful.  The amenities were in good condition.  The building was safe.  The service was excellent.  The hotel in itself was excellent.  The only things we didn't like was that the church in front of the hotel rang their bell very loudly, every day at 6:15, 6:30 and 6:45 in the morning.  It woke us up every day at that time.  We couldn't stay out late because we knew we would be awoken early in the morning.  For this I would recommend to bring earplugs.  The second thing that was just okay was the location.  It was not close to the touristy locations.  You either have to walk 20 minutes to get to Rinconada or take a cab to Zicatela or La Punta.

Place is amazing. the owners are amazing. Very welcoming, very friendly. Overall I would score way above 10 if I could. Great location. We look forward to coming back.

Piece of Paradise on Puerto Escondido!

Property was very well kept.Everything was excellent and staff friendly and helpful and available.I would say the only draw back to this property is it is on a hill with many stairs. But this is a common situation for most hotels in the area, the price for the beautiful beach views.
