The only good thing about this hotel is its location : Roma is a great Neighborhood, in a walking distance to Condessa, the subway and even the walk to the historic center is a very good one. The hotel itself is old and worn out. The matress was disgusting, the bed had holes in the textile and massive pieces of wood were showing. The room smelled really bad and could not be aired. The maintenance of the hotel is really poor. The staff is really nice, friendly and helpful, but the hotel definitely does not deserve its stars, and considering the options on the market, not that cheap ...

Completely worn out, noisy and smelly

It's a worn hotel with little maintenance. The rooms, mattress and general furniture are clean but need a change. There's carpets covering the floors and this doesn't help with the smell and humidity.

We stayed her in November, and found our room to be clean and a decent size.  The location is great, easy walking distance to both restaurants and local attractions.  As mentioned by another traveler, our bed was noisy - the bed lining is pretty crisp ....

In room Wi Fi was sporadically good/great/not worth trying.  Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful - always greeted warmly.

On a downside - our room was marked quite clearly as a non-smoking room, however it did contain ashtrays and the entire room smelled of smoke.

On a side note, and it didn't have anything to do with our room - one of the rooms on our floor was completely sealed off with tape and it did lead to questions about whether it was being fumigated or ....?

We would certainly give it another try.  Having mentioned the downsides, it was still clean and reasonably comfortable for the price, along with a great location.

Decent place for the price.

We arrived very very early for check in after an overnight flight and two women at the front desk were very nice and let us check in. The room was very quiet. We got the Red Room with the red tile hot tub which is huge! Great price; great staff and great location at the northeast corner of the Roma neighborhood which is a fantastic colonia for walking around and people watching. Roma has tons of great restaurants and quite a few options for vegans and vegetarians.

Average hotel, in an interesting area (Cuautemoc), not far from the center and with good atmosphere (several rock pubs around). Regarding to negative points: lack of light in the room and the bed was a bit noisy.
