We stayed here one night with group of 9
Rented 5 rooms.
Small clean hotel with great host.  Nice pool.  We had purchased food that required refrigeration for our drive thru this town and they allowed us to use the fridge.  No restaurant on site so plan ahead


Nice smaller hotel 

We booked 2 nights through booking.com.

We arrived by bus from Merida, walked 15 minutes from the bus station, only to find the door locked.  We rang, no answer, rang again and then sat on the doorstep for 30 minutes.

Then a guy arrived in a car and said they had closed due to Covid.

He took us to another inferior hotel who had all the details of our reservation.

I took it up with Booking.com and they have registered a complaint.

Booking confirmed that they had bookings yesterday and had bookings all set for next week so only this weekend have they closed without any redress.

We had only been messaging each other a few days ago so I really do get the feeling that we have been bumped.

Make your own mind up as to whether you might want to stay here.

Closed but couldn't be bothered to tell us

Just 10 minutes walk from the main plaza lies this small hotel. Very friendly staff, rooms are large and clean. Great shower. There is a pool with lounge chairs in a lovely garden. Snacks and drinks are very cheap. Best place to stay in Izamal.

Unique hotel

Perfect hotel experience. The staff are very kind, the pool are is clean and has lots of beautiful plants, and 10 minute walk from the main plaza. Perfect size if you are looking for a slightly smaller and quieter place to stay while visiting Izamal.

Absolutely beautiful space and amazing staff

Only a 10 min walk from the main square and 5-7 min from the pyramid, a perfect location. 

We were warmly met at reception and shown to our room. Room was very spacious and clean. Bed super comfy, lots of pillows and some extra blankets should you need. Ceiling fan, air conditioning and windows that open. 

Large bathroom with plenty of towels, toiletries and a hairdryer. 
Great shower pressure and hot water. 

Wifi was pretty good and breakfast (additional fee) was tasty and served by the pool. 

Pool area is well maintained with comfy loungers and umbrellas. 

Staff were very helpful to point out restaurants and places of interest and arranged a taxi for us to return to Merida the next day. 

Definitely recommend.  

Beautiful hotel, perfect location

We only stayed for one night since we were on our way to Tulum, but we absolutely loved it. Such a nice place. Very spacious room, very clean, quiet and very friendly staff. 
We had breakfast here and it was very good and cheap. 
We can definitely recommend this place! 

Such a nice place! 

I stayed for one night during the Rally Maya 2019.   Small hotel with tons of charm.  Comfortable, spacious rooms.  Clean bathrooms.    A lot of little details that really make it an obligated stop.  
The hotel is small but it is spread out making you feel like you are at your friends' grandmothers home.

Super pleasant surprise

We only had one night here but it was the best hotel we stayed in on our trip round the Yucatan.  I had a ground floor room which was enormous with two king sized beds and a huge, very modern, grey tiled bathroom.  This room looked out over the lovely garden and swimming pool.  Bottled water was provided in the room, towels, a few toiletries, quiet air conditioning and flat screen tv (which I didn't try).  My family had a large first floor room looking out onto the road, with a queen sized bed.  Plenty of parking. Ten minutes walk to the central square down a road lined with shops and businesses. Helpful staff, some of whom spoke English. Breakfast was good with a varied choice.  Excellent value, we couldn't have done better here and would certainly recommend it to others. 

Fabulous

Izamal is a small town in the Yucatan. One of the Magic Towns. One day is more than enough to see the sights. Hacienda Izamal provides a nice atmosphere for a night stay. It has a pool, which we did not use as the water was cold during our stay. The room and  modern bathroom, while  simple, provide everything you need. Breakfast is not included in the price but is very reasonably priced. We had the American continental and it included fresh fruit,  scrambled eggs with ham and cheese, horchata water, French bread and coffee/tea. The staff is amiable and serviceable. 

Enjoyable stay!

Let’s be straight to the point.

This hotel propose a very cheap price
Room was very massive and very clean.
They have a wonderful swimming pool
And the most important the staff was very nice

I don’t know what to tell more, if you want to stay in the beautiful city of Izamal, this is the place to be.
