Lovely old house in the rabbit warren of lanes in Victoria,Gozo.
Charming owners,Cornil and Rachel,who met up with us at a bar in the square,just down from the house.
Wonderfully situated near both main squares,the Citadel ,the Opera house,all restaurants and ..the bus station.
Very nice room,with a street view and we were very comfortable there....with 1 exception.
The toilette.
There is no door and even very close partners might need some privacy when using a toilette...!!
Also,as a result of the old plumbing system,you cannot flush used toilet paper,but must keep it in a container,which is emptied every day.
Other than that issue,the positives are location,comfort and a very reasonable price.

3 Nights in Gozo

This beautiful old house is in the maze of passageways that make up the old Victoria, but the owners arranged to meet us at the bus station, which is a few minutes walk from the house, so we could not get lost.  We  stayed in the Gallerija Room with its curved Maltese balcony and it was lovely room to come back to after a day of exploring and walking. 
It is an ideal base from which to explore Cittadella, Gozo and Comino.  We regularly used the very good bus system which radiates out from Victoria to all parts of the island.  Rachel and Cornil have put booklets and maps, that describe various walks, in the bookcase for guests to use.  We used them as we planned our days activities and as a guide when we were out.
Thank you Rachel and Cornil, we had a fantastic holiday in Gozo.

Excellent base for exploring Gozo and Comino

Staying at Cornil and Rachel’s amazing guest house was the highlight of my trip to Malta for so many reasons. Gozo and specifically this location within Victoria is the best possible place to base to a Gozo trip from. I loved the ease of it all and the feeling of being dropped into the middle of a real neighborhood that was both exotic and very peaceful, authentic, safe, and comfortable to be in. And the guesthouse itself...! They have done an amazing job rehabbing this ancient stone home with modern amenities but with keeping the nature of the house intact. My room was spacious and one of the most charming places I’ve ever stayed in the world. I loved the church bells and the daytime sounds of conversations on the street below. This is a real neighborhood, the nights were quiet, the thick stone walls kept everything cool no matter the outside temperature. Then there’s Rachel and Cornil, stellar examples of what hosting can be. They were warm, helpful, witty, and made me instantly feel as though I was being welcomed as family. Their recommendations for activities and restaurants were 100% fabulous. I had the added bonus of being in Victoria during an amazing festival with all of it right at my doorstep. What a treat. Really, the whole experience was heavenly. This place and these hosts are a true treasure! Book it.

Travel Magic at it’s Best

I stayed on Gogo for 6 days using Gallerija House as a base.  It was perfect.  Short walk to the main bus terminal to any part of the island and next door to a gorgeous church and piazza with lots of cafes and shops. It is centrally located to everything.

The home itself is set up wonderfully with a communal bottom floor kitchen and living room.  Just up the spiral stairs are three rooms.  I stated in the Arched Room which has wonderful character.  Bed was very comfortable and cozy and had all the things I needed.  Lots of outlets for electronics.  Water pressure was excellent and the wifi was strong and reliable. It’s a really beautiful and well kept old home bed with no breakfast.

I really can’t recommend this highly enough. The hosts were very responsive and helpful and live and work nearby.  As a solo female traveler, I felt VERY safe wandering around even at night.  It’s a lovely community.

I would come back to this very spot in a heartbeat!

Best place in all of Gozo!

This is a small guest house with only three rooms (be quick). All of them are so well decorated, with so much attention to the details. The old typical Gozitan house is beautiful, charming and comfortable, and very well situated in Victoria. Our room had a lovely balcony from where I could catch a glimpse of the everyday life of the Gozitans while drinking my first morning coffee. Wonderful. The owners are so kind and always helpful, full of tips and stories. Since the very first email, till the last minute you feel completely assisted. The owners are a highlight here. Would definitely come back in spring to see the island blossoming.

Best place to stay in Victoria Rabat

Firstly - we loved Gozo. Much less built up than Malta itself.
Second - the house is amazing. Beautiful setting and beautiful in its own right. 
Third - the owners are lovely.

NB for some TripAdvisor is saying to review this as a hotel. It is a 3 room B&B - but without the breakfast! Plenty of local breakfast places.
