Equator Village

Stayed here for 2 weeks in January . The rooms are simple but very clean with a huge bathroom and comfortable bed . The whole hotel , from the gardens,pool area, bar and restaurant are all imaculate with a cool, simple laid back design , it really enhances the feeling of relaxation . The beach area is beautiful , and sun beds are plentiful , and although the hotel offers a snorkelling boat trip twice a day for all inclusive guests there is a reef just a few strokes away from the beech , There are also many other tours including an island hopping tour with lunch served on the boat and a dolphin experience which was amazing to see . Bikes are also free to use, and we cycled into town a couple of times where we met some very friendly locals. We used the spa once and had a wonderful massage from the lady ( I forget her name ) but I definitely recomend . We found the food in the restaurant to be delicious ( especially the curries ) but there was somethi g different to choose from every day . We partially liked that we were allocated a table for the duration of our stay and drinks were usually placed on our table before we arrived as they remembered what we had ordered which was a nice touch . I really have to mention the staff, they are all a credit to the hotel. And work tirelessly to ensure everyone is looked after . A special mention to Riffa , the lady in the restaurant , she always greated us with the biggest smile, even doing 3 shifts a day , she was always happy and helpful . Thankyou for such an amazing stay . We will definitely be back soon .
