Only worth the location. The rooms are big but old and dirty. Last time i stayed, the water was down tge whole morning so we had to wait for several hours to get a shower. Tha family rooms are newer than the standard rooms.

Good location, old hotel

The room offered is quite big, comfortable bed however there is no WiFi available during our stay. The air conditioning set in our room is an old model, there is no remote control. The timer is set on random and we were haunted with freezing cold temperature during the night and the hell of hot and damp condition during the day. Hotel staff didn't really care of that. A good stay but I find the security and customer service could be improved.

The room is quite big, the bed is comfortable and all basic amenities are available. There is also TV (with multiple channels) and free WIFI in the room for a leisure night in. The staff are helpful as well. Good location (at city centre) and is near to restaurants and shops.

However, this is a old hotel that is situated in a very old building. There are minor cracks on tiles on the floor of bathroom and on the counter where washroom basin are situated. The closet doors are somewhat misaligned as well. It doesn't affect the quality of the room, but just something a guest of the hotel should take note so to not have too high expectations.

I strongly advise against a room with windows facing the main street, especially for guests prone to insomnia or is a light sleeper. My night was interrupted with noise from motorcar racing and a car alarm going off in the middle of the night.

Adequate hotel for a night of stay

When we arrived we found the door of our room open and the room stinking of smoke.
The only hotel information in room was a list of the cost of various items if they were stolen or damaged . Most of the item listed were not in the room anyway.
Several times during the night various groups of people came and banged on our door seeking entry. They did not have a room key and offered no reason for their actions. Management were informed of this and didn't care or offer any explanation.
There is a lot of outside noise well into the night.
Do not stay here

Awful

A friend and I stayed here one night. We have no complaints whatsoever. It is a clean hotel for a good price with friendly staff and a good location.
We have to travel back through Tawau and will stay there without a doubt. 
There's a tv, clean shower/bathroom, clean towels and always somebody at the reception.
