Kompo EcoRooms

We booked two rooms; a family room and a double room. The rooms were quite spacious, clean and well maintained. The owner was friendly. The location was strategic, you can go anywhere within 5 to 20 minutes; east coast mall, berjaya megamall, restaurants or teluk cempedak. Not recommended to old people with any musculoskeletal pain because there was no lifts available.

As I reached Kompo, staff passed rooms key to me. Staff no mention further information in detail, since I arrived around 10pm. I stayed there for 2 nights and went to Sg. Lembing for day trips. I booked 1 double room and 1 triple room, if you are in two people, I encouraged that you can choose 1 triple room, since price of triple room is cheaper than double room, and the room facilities is same for both rooms. The rooms is very clean and with private bathroom with heater, it is convenient for my family to have bath there. There is drinking water machine with hot and cold water, you can fill up your bottle before leaving to your next destination. The location is strategic and near to Kuantan city, you can easily reach main shopping mall like East Coast Mall and Teluk Cempedak beach. There is no sound insulation materials for doors, so I can hear sound during my resting time, it is quite annoying especially when you are tired back from other places. Overall, Kompo is suitable for family accommodation for relaxing in Kuantan.

We booked the family room which came with 1 double bed and 2 single beds. There was an attached bathroom with heater. Place was clean and well maintained. Owner's were friendly. Location wise, there were few malls within 5-10 minutes of driving. Will definitely stay again.

Accomodation is near a high trafic avenue and a very polluted river. Some rooms are very small. 

There are far better options in the city with better situation and friendly staff.

The city, in itself, has really no special interest.

Noisy place close to a very polluted river

We had the connection rooms 101 & 102 which was at first floor. Due to poor design, other guests who staying at second and third floor needed to pass through my rooms in order to reach their rooms. It was very annoying and making us couldn't sleep well. The air conditioner at room 101 was not functioning well and it was so hot.  The rooms have very poor sound insulation. The owner was always not there,  so if you have any problems, you have to either call the owner or deal with their foreign workers which can't speak Malay or English well.
