Reitumetse Guesthouse

It was a pleasant place to stay with  family, friends or even when in business to Maseru. In fact it is a home away from home. The service is excellent with clean and neat rooms, dinning rooms and general environment.  The staff are well-mannered and excellent multi-lingual character to all guest of various ethnic groups." Double thumps UP for you Reitumetse"

The rooms were very clean, nicely decorated and the staff was courteous. We were most delighted with the accommodation and we paid a reasonable price for the level of comfort. Phokeng is close to town so we were able to move around town to see friends and do our business.  We will probably be back again.

Reitumetse is a home away from home

My family and children were accommodated very comfortaby and the breakfast was delicious and filling.

Visiting Maseru and finding comfortable accommodation and value for money, can be a challenge. Reitumetse offers this. The only challenge is that it can become a bit noisy when fully booked. With a bit of anticipation, planning and staff management this can become one of the valued locations in Maseru

Value for money stay

Usually when I come to Maseru for business, I stay in another place but that week it was all fully booked. I stayed in Reitumetse Guest House one night and it was ok, that's why I decided to book again here when I was away in other parts of Lesotho for my last night in the country before going back home. I have booked it online, paying half of the accommodation fee. When I arrived at 9pm, the manager told me there was no room available. I literally panicked, because at that time it is very difficult wandering around the city to look for a place where to sleep. The manager offered me to go in another place, without having to lose my advanced payment, but I had to organize transport by myself. Luckily the driver of  the company for which I work did not leave me and brought me over the place. It was even a nice house, arranged for a B&B type of business, but the lady who received me was unfriendly, refusing to offer any food (except a yogurt and an apple). On top of that, they just had shared bathrooms, the room was less than acceptably clean and the room was super hot, making the sleep a nightmare. Maybe I have just been unlucky, but I can tell it was a poor experience.

Terrible management

I did not enjoy my stay at Retumetse guest house, the service was poor when the room was not cleaned because apparently, they didn't have a spare key to gain access to my room. The entire experience was awful, had to ask them for simple things like an adapter for a fridge, their staff has a bad attitude and they can only speak Sesotho and cannot accommodate non-Sesotho speaking people. Overall, service was the worst
