Absolutely lovely Ryokan, very clean, very spacious!! 
You get the ‚entrance tickets‘ to all the Onsen in Kinosaki and you get your Yukata wear from them, too. The owners are very friendly and speak good English! 

All in all - Kinosaki is def worth a trip! Do come and stay at this Ryokan!! 

Kinosaki onsen can be very difficult to book during the holidays. It can also be very expensive. So the trick can often be is to find someplace where you can lay your head super comfortably but without breaking your bank. Since really, you’re going to be spending all of your time out at the baths anyway.  Hayakawa is just such a place. Run by an absolutely charming couple it is directly in the center of town, a few minutes from the station, so no need to wait for the bus. (Not that you really need the bus for anything in Kinosaki).  A new Tokiwa Coffee has opened right at their corner so you can have a coffee first thing, if you need, or grab something from Family Mart at the corner. Our room was lovely and toasty with fluffy eiderdowns and great futons and a charming windowed siting area. Coffee is also excellent at Crezon a few doors down. Their second floor cafe looks out over the river and main street.  So get thee to Kinosaki!

The location of this hotel is just go straight from the station. The owner was very kind and had excellent English speaking. Our room was very huge, although it was quite old, it was clean.

The hotel provided us yukata form that were very warm and pass to go to any spa in town.

When we checked out, we wanted to take a walk to the station. Then the owner told us he would bring our luggage to the station by car 15 min before train departure. And he went there at that time! Thank you very much!!

Very good location near Onsen pond and convenience store. Walk from the train station Travel back to the hotel at the tourist center opposite the train station. Warm and comfortable bedroom Bathrooms are both Japanese and Western. 2nd floor will be a western toilet. 3rd floor is a Japanese toilet. The owner or receptionist is very good in English. Good onsen recommendations.

Good location

This ryokan is perfectly located in the centre of Kinosaki.  The railway station, 7 public onsens and shops are nearby.

It a traditional Japanese style house where Japanese style rooms are offered.  You sleep on futons which are comfortable.  Communal toilets are shared by guests.  Public onsen pass, yukata and basic amenities are provided.  

It was a very hot summer in August when we stayed here.  The air-conditioning inside the room was not adequate to keep cool.  There was no ventilation and air-conditioning in the common area such as corridors and common toilets.  Most windows were kept closed.  The heat was unbearable and it was so uncomfortable.  This problem must be solved during the summer.

Kinosaki is a very good place to visit for onsen experience.  I think this ryokan can be considered at the other time of the year but not summer.
