From the outside the building doesn't look like a hotel, but it says Itaiana 2, so you know you're in the right place. The door is very small and on the side and again you might wonder. Inside you meet your lovely, smiling hostess and she will show you to a lovely room that is huge by Japanese standards. The rooms have big windows on 3 sides, so lots of light, nicely decorated, your own sink and tea kettle. I nice couch and table. Very bright and clean. The wonderful owner had very good english skills and I was able to communicate everything I needed to her. She drove me around and even to the rail station when it was time to go. Spent two nights there! The downstairs bathroom wasn't me favorite, but did enjoy the local outdoor "onsen" that's right on the beach, Highly recommend Pension Italiana!
