I stayed here while backpacking through Japan and it was very pleasant. This guest house is clean, quiet and homelike. Its not too far from train station which will take you to hakodate station. There are food and convenient store accross the street and more down the road. The owner is very friendly and made me feel comfortable and welcomed and could carry on conversation in English which i appriciated. He even drove me to the station the day i left or i would have missed it. Overall happy experience for me!
