Furano Hotel Bell Hills

Pros: - one block away from Kitanomine Terminal/Gondola - buffet breakfast (included) has a decent spread - onsen is open from 3-11pm and not crowded; has both indoor and outdoor area - there is a coin arcade on 1/F to keep kids entertained - heated ski locker is very convenient and up the hill closer to Kitanomine Terminal (1-2 minute walk) - microwave in lobby was convenient for heating up some quick meals from 7-Eleven - free wifi throughout property Cons - rooms are small; the triple room is the same size as the double room but with an extra single bed in it - staff speak very little English (we communicated using Google Translate which was fine) - could use more basis toiletries, especially in the onsen. Bring your own moisturizer. - skip the dinner buffet, quality and variety of food doesn't justify Y3080 adult; Y2156 child price tag. Overall, this is a pretty no-frills hotel, which was perfectly fine for us. If you just need a place to stay, close to the slopes and other restaurants, this checks all the boxes. I have nothing bad to say about the service, staff are willing to help, you just need to be patient when communicating with them.
