We came to Santicuti as friends recommended it. Already by driving to the parking lot it seemed to be a very quiet site The welcome was very nice and we were shown around.
There is a lot of space with lawn, a wonderful big and clean pool with chairs around and a pergola so that there is also shadow. We had our room on the garden side with own entrance. The room was simple, not new, but had everything what one needs, same in the bathroom, simple but clean. The breakfast was ok for us for 2 weeks but not very varied and just with sweet things. But positiv was that one gets fresh made cappuccino and brioche at own choice and fresh fruits. 
We could always ask for tips and even do a little smalltalk although our Italian is not so good.

Wonderful, quiet oasis

A perfect base for visiting southern Puglia, good pool, friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast, and the room was clean and sheets and towels changed regularly. 
You need to eat out for lunch and dinner (although there's a small fridge for keeping supplies in) but there are good cafes, restaurants and a range of dining within 3-4 km - at Acaia, St Foca and San Cataldo.   Local beach is good and about 3km by car. Bari is about 2 hours, Otranto about an hour.  Finding the hotel is easy (but only once you know how! - on the San Cataldo road by the coast, pass the Acaia turn on the right and the road to the hotel is 100 yds further on, on the left, by the Brown sign for the hotel. Or, if coming via Lecce, take the turn off at junction 8B and then turn right at the T junction - and then as from St Cataldo).
We were the only non-Italians during our 10 day stay, but you can get by with a smattering and one of the partners speaks better English than we spoke Italian!

Great place for relaxing

Beautiful place perfect for relaxing and visiting. It is very well located if you want to explore the region. 
The staff is extremely nice and welcoming!
The room is clean and comfortable.

This a place where you can immerse and breathe the tranquility of an old castle with gardens well kept, enjoying a quality time with your love ones. What it makes this hotel even better is the friendly atmosphere and attention of the staff! I recomend 1000%!

Such a quiet and beautiful place!

Santicuti is very well located to reach nice sea side locations as San Foca, Torre dell Orso, Laghi Alimini and Otranto as well as Lecce. Very nice structure quite and clean, nice pool and garden, a place for adults and kids. I also suggest the place for people willing to do jogging, biking or golf. Finally, perfect for bird watching in the right seasons as the place is in the middle of WWF natural park. Staff is extremely kind and can arrange several needs for the guests. Is not the place you go to receive full service and just stay in the resort but a fantastic location for sports, visiting the surroundings with good quality/price ratio. Please note that there is no restaurant and some services (as everyday cleaning) are extra. Thanks to Tommas and Elena that made our staining very pleasant and nice.
