We had a good sized room with a very modern bathroom in this very good top-floor B&B. It’s close to the station, just a few minutes walk from the centre. There’s a lift (elevator) to get you there. There’s lots of decorative stuff around, but it’s very clean. The real reason for the top ranking is the owner, Elena, she is super-helpful and has endless good advice. She made all the difference to our few-day stay in Trieste. By the way, the breakfasts are excellent too. All-in-all a great stay and excellent value as well. 

Outstanding stay

Very close to railway station, Elena provides an amazing stay for a reasonable price. She has decorated it in her own style which may not appeal to everyone but we thought it great, she is a very clever lady. She has thought of everything a guest may need. Her breakfast was excellent and when she found out we were leaving earlier than her normal breakfast time she got up to provide us breakfast. Was immaculate plus quiet and comfortable plus there was an air conditioner which was great as the temperature outside was late 20s. Absolutely recommend 

Great place to stay 

Staying here for 2 nights. The apartment is very huge and just served for 4 persons in 2 rooms.  Our room was very nice, clean and felt comfortable. Elena - the host was extreme nice and we enjoyed her excellent breakfast very much. One more very important thing, the apartment is very very close to the train station and we could walk there just a few mins and got the train to Venice. Highly recommended.

Just nearby central train station

Had a wonderful stay at this B&B, which is beautifully decorated and very comfortable and spacious. Everything was so light and airy, and sparkling clean. The bathroom was very large, as well. Our host was very kind, and very helpful with tips on where to eat and where to go in the city. She also fixed an excellent breakfast that included a delicious fruit salad, croissants, bread, cereal, yogurt and cheeses, and the best coffee we've had in a long time! Our only wish is that we booked more nights. Trieste is a gorgeous city and we wish we'd had more time there, and at this B&B. We'll definitely return!
