Pino.... a GREAT host, absolutely great. He has made our stay at Hotel (Albergo) Caffaro great. The location of the Hotel (Albergo) Caffaro is perfect. Here is a sign "Hotel Caffaro" at the Piazza Del Portello, so you can't miss it. Its walking distance from the historical Genoa UNESCO sites. Mr Pino gave us free map and also explained us where to go. We visited the house of Christopher Columbus, thanks to Mr. Pino who helped us point it out on the map. Room was big and spacious, when you open the window you get to see Genoa, nice view. A/C was good, bed was comfortable and we had a VERY good night sleep. Breakfast was served in YOUR ROOM by Mr. Pino the GREAT. Lovely little Italian breakfast, with your choice of coffee or tea. There is a muffin, yoghurt, toast biscuits, jam and fruit juice. Bathroom was clean and hot water was good. Wifi strength was very good. Metro and bus stopped right by the hotel, as Albergo (Hotel) Caffaro is only1 minute walking distance from the traffic circle. Aquarium is also within walking distance, 15 minutes. Mr. Pino makes sure that his guests are not disturbed, he takes care of his guests. Checkin was smooth and checkout was smooth was well. Can't say ENOUGH good things about Albergo (Hotel) Caffaro. Its always fully booked and as it rightly should be. Will stay here again, highly recommend it to all who are visiting Genoa.
