Temple Gate Hotel **** 📍Ennis, Co Clare Ireland 🇮🇪 We had a lovely stay at this hotel last weekend which is situated right in the heart of Ennis town on the west coast of Ireland ideal for exploring the beautiful Lahinch Beach and the breathtaking Cliff of Moher! The hotel is traditional in style with traditional Irish decor, we stayed in a family room which was a very spacious and perfect for a family of 4 but a tad dated and the bathroom along with the hall but the rest of the hotel was lovely! Breakfast was buffet continental with a menu to order hot food and the room was beautiful used most weekend to hold weddings! Preachers Bar the onsite hotel bar had a lovely beer garden and had live Irish music on during the day and evening and children were allowed in till close if staying at the hotel! The hotel is located right in the heart of the city centre of Ennis and has free parking on site! The hotels side entrance leads you to the Main Street of Ennis a short 5 minutes walk where you will find numerous independent shops, bars, restaurants, coffee shops and a lovely 🍦ice cream shop, defo worth a visit! 😋 I would highly recommend this hotel for its perfect base if you’re looking to explore the west coast of Ireland and its beauty spots!
