My family visited recently and stayed here, lovely spot in the heart of the town and a wonderful pint of Guinness 
Highly recommend Ewing's and will definitely put my family up here again.

Over from England Staying here at the moment for work. Rooms are great, very comfortable beds, big shower. Lovely bar downstairs staff are very friendly and helpful. Located right in the centre of town would recomend to anyone. Jacob

Stayed in Ewings a few times excellent accommodation very clean and tidy all rooms are well looked after. WiFi very good all through the building. The pub is excellent great staff very helpful. Would recommend to anybody over all excellent. 

I stayed for two night and Ewing's over the weekend . I had a lovely spacious, quiet bedroom, bed was very comfortable. 
The shower was excellent, hot, powerful and high quality tiling. 
The owner Ken was very helpful from the time I arrived on Saturday afternoon .
The location is so convenient and Ewing's Pub, which is adjoining is spotless and finished to a high standard in terms of decor. 


Check in at bar  the staff are helpful friendly and gave a good welcome. We were surprised how clean and tidy the room was it was spotless but  the bathroom was a bit on the small side. The bed was really comfortable one of the best sleeps I've ever had on a stay over. There was a really good atmosphere at the bar and music on in the bar that night excellent bar garden. A big plus no noise made it to the room. We had no breakfast here I don't know if it is available. But overall a good stay was had and we will book again. 

Rooms were clean and freshly painted. Anto the barman  was very friendly and nothing was an issue. Location was perfect. Breakfast could have been of better quality. Perfect for a night away with the girls.

I stayed in a tithome,  Whilst, basically the facilities were adequate, there was no washbasin or kettle.  I would reccomend staying in one of the cabins if you can afford whatever extra. In the evenings and first thing in the morning it was cold

THe staff were helpful and pleasant, the bar was good but I was dissapointed by its closing times, often by 11pm

I stayed at Ewing’s the night before my college graduation with my family. The accommodation is really in the middle of town which is great. The bar Is nice and the staff were were helpful and friendly on arrival. It is important to note as a customer that they offer rooms both refundable and non refundable with early cancellation. There was noise from the pub downstairs during the night which is grand if your out too but not when you need a nights sleep which of course on said night we did...and unfortunately didn’t get enough of due to the noise. Customer relations R.E responding to emails could be much improved as in it was non-existent so pretty much useless when it comes to resolving any issues regarding booking/conversations regarding non refundable bookings. In general the rooms were quite clean with comfortable beds. They also have a back/side entrance through a yard which clean and well lit and means you don’t have to enter/leave through the pub. I would however strongly recommend a drain cleaner down all the bathroom drains or at least one of the rooms we stayed in (the one with 3 double beds). When we arrived into our room, there was a smell that was from the drains but was awful. We opened windows and closed the bathroom door while we left for dinner and thankfully the smell was gone when we returned. Also it advertises parking onsite and it is available but it’s public parking though the square is quiet enough and we could see our cars from the bedrooms. Overall I might stay again if I was going on a night out but definitely not if I was needing a nights sleep/intending on sleeping before the pub closed. It wouldn’t take a whole lot to improve this accommodation. (e.g ensuring tea/coffee facilities are available in all rooms, having hair dryers available, having a separate small bin in the room, responding to emails provided and operate the same refundable/non-refundable room rates or a distinct cheaper price i.e state that it’s x% cheaper to book a non-refundable room to name a few suggestions). If it was improved I would give it a 4/5 given that the pub noise can’t be helped.

A little underwhelming but the experience with the staff earns brownie points.

Ewings bed and breakfast accommodation.ar and staff lovely. Nice and friendly. But when you go upstairs it heartbreaking. Don't stay no breakfast and a dump. State of kettle if wasn't checked before use.
