The view from the homestay was super nice. The staff is so friendly. Food was good. They give some maps to go walking around the village, was fun experience. Room clean, swimming pool was good. Nice experience to enjoy the short escape :)

nice stay

We stay here just 1 night. We just wondering how if we stay at east part of Bali. What a place! Amazing! The Room clean & comfort. The staff very friendly. Especially, the place very calm & peaceful, good place to stay. Can't wait to come here again.

Good place to stay!

The location is so hidden. Nice bungalow and room, not so clean swimming pool but its okay. Can interact with local, a lot of duck swimming in the river. Very Nice staff and great food too. Little bit difficult to find it but worth it.

Hidden paradise

Beautiful location and garden. But far away from everything including the village. Especialy since the bridge you need to cross is still broken. Only accees by foot. They just started rebuilding.
Friendly staff. Breakfast limited. Rooms okay but basic. No aircon.

Beautiful isolated location

Beautiful tranquil location, bungalows surrounded by water ponds filled with fish, nice outdoor restaurant overlooking Creek. Bungalows sparsely furnished only a bed and small bedside table so nowhere to hang or store belongings so living out of your suitcase on the floor. OK for short stay otherwise inconvenient with no storage. About a 30 min walk into the village. Our main complaint was airport pickup that was arranged and confirmed with guesthouse did not turn up with booking overlooked and when trying to contact them from airport staff spoke very little English and we're unable to help so had to make our own arrangements after 2 hrs at airport. Otherwise a pleasant 3 day stay.

Peaceful setting by creek

Fantastic location with less than a five minute drive from Sidemen centre, with stunning views of Mount Agung and riverside.

Staff are very friendly and kind, but sadly that is where it ends.

Cold water showers, no cleaning, dirty walls, the most uncomfortable old mattress I have ever slept on which appeared to be memory foam that had an incredibly long memory, and food poisoning from the kitchen ( it was the only place I eat or drank at the day before). 

The worst thing for me over all of this is the fact that despite a recycling facility available (at a small cost to the guest house), the staff dump bags of waste and plastic waste down stream. I only wish I had had my phone to capture it. Do not do this. This is your community who use to bathe in the water and for their livelihood, for the environment downstream and our planet. The owner is an educated man, please set an example. I will not return.

Very mixed experience.

Great location but POOL was EMPTY and there was no direct vehicle access as the bridge is still under construction (so be prepared to wade across the river with your luggage). Our room was great and it overlooked the river and restaurant that served average food. Expect to pay 10,000 for a pot of hot water! Staff were friendly but not all that helpful and could not offer apology or discount for the empty pool. This is really opportunity lost for a place set in such great surroundings. We booked for 3 nights but only stayed for 1 - we moved to nearby Sawah Indah and couldn't be happier.
