6 reviewsWe stayed in Royal Heritage Houseboat for 2 nights in the last week of May, 2024. From Ghat 14 of Dal lake, boat took 15 minutes to reach the houseboat.Upon arrival ww were served very good Kahwa, the local tea of Kashmir. Hospitality was extremely satisfactory and the Shafi owners ensured we got the best veg food of our taste without garlic. We were given 2 rooms of their 7 room houseboat. Rooms were spacious enough. Bathroom was of decent size with bathtub. Overall cleanliness was excellent. Houseboat chef and helpers were friendly.Also, we enjoyed the shikara ride and thanks to Mr. Shafi, we did shopping at the houseboat itself as the shoppers arrived at the houseboat at night and the items were reasonably priced. If we visit Kashmir in future, we will definitely consider staying in Royal Heritage Houseboat.
