One of the best place we had been for the weekend get together and training of our Company. Excellent property, well maintained accommodation facility , great hospitality from the owner Mr Arjun and the staff, delicious food. Will recommend to all including individual travelers also.

We eight colleagues had an amazing, wonderful stay at Great Hornbill resort. Upon arrival, we were greeted with warm smiles and a sense of peace that seemed to envelop the entire place. The exterior of the resort exuded rustic charm, blending harmoniously with the natural surroundings. The rustic walkway leading to the stream, the swimming pool, the butterflies' garden , the mist topped hills all offered an enchanting view .For those looking to unwind, the resort offers serene spots for yoga and meditation amidst nature's serenity. One of the main highlights of our stay was taking a bath in the clear water stream gushing over submerged rocks .The river water is so pristine and clear and a dip in the stream was so refreshing. Rooms were spacious, cool and comfortable with well maintained wash rooms. As dawn broke, we embarked on a morning walk to the nearby hill farm guided by the resort owners, Mr.Arjun and Mr.Deepak. Witnessing the mist tipped mountains, the hushed silence interrupted only by the melodious chirping of birds ,the different species of trees and flowers all left us feeling rejuvenated and connected to nature in a profound way.
Food was very tasty, hygienic ,healthy and had a mix of  vegetables and fruits that were organically grown in the garden.
Our stay at the resort was a soul-enriching experience leaving us with a deeper appreciation for the natural world and a sense of tranqulity.
Our sincere gratitude and thanks  to the management especially the resort owners Mr Prasannan, Mr Arjun and Mr Deepak who made the stay at the resort a memorable one.

Beautiful experience - Great Horn Bill resort Nilambur

We were hoping to spend some quality family time in a lonely place. Great Hornbill turned out to be the perfect place for that. Awesome hospitality by the host Arjun and delicious food served on banana leaf were served. Only sad part was that we could not stay overnight to experience the ambience at night. Ideal place to detox from the busy city life away from mobile network and other disturbances.

Beautiful Day trip experience

We had a great time at Great Hornbill Resort, Nilambur. The resort is amazing with good and spacious rooms. Bath in  river was the main attraction. Thanks to Arjun for all the help and hospitality. We would love to visit this place again.

Great experience

We had a wonderful  stay for 2 days amidst  nature. The rooms were spacious,  the food was beyond compare and staff  were very very helpful and courteous. Special mention about Mr. ARJUN and Mr . RAKESH who took us around. There is an n awesome stream on the property which is a delight

One day stay in nilamboor

The Great Horn Bill - you beauty !!!. The property is married by nature and blessed with purity - air, water, people with lots of smile and warmth.  Wake up hearing the river flow, view of the mountain with the mist kissing the top, green and green all around the place, blossomed flowers making love with the butterflies, and birds playing the tunes and mouth watering cuisine served with homely affection. we never felt we are away from our home.. but so much peace and so much to seek from the nature.  The staff needs a special appreciation for the effort and the passion at which the whole place is run, starting from the owners to the guides, and the real stars are the resort staff who never made us feel we were guest.  

if you need to have some time for yourself, your family and time to introspect your life.   go for it.  you wont regret.  

** Good rail, road connectivity and cab  service with very good local drivers who knows the town to the core.

** Rooms are spacious with hot water, AC and good washrooms. A very good balcony staring at the mountains and a couch to lay down.

Heaven in the Hills - Place, People & Peace

We, two couples (all senior citizens) spend two nights at Great Hornbill. Rooms were big and  comfortable. Food was really tasty and healthy, most ingredients came from their own garden. But the real attraction is the river which flows through their boundary. Water is so pristine and pure. Taking a bath there will  cleanse you physically and mentally. 
The owner, Mr Prasannan who stays there is a perfect gentleman and a perfect host. The staff are also very friendly and obliging 
We chose this place after seeing reviews in youtube and tripadwiser and it was a perfect hit. 

Excellent memories

We have fantastic stay at Great Hornbill resort for two days with my family. The resort has a unique feature of construction with perfect blend with nature. While preserving the natural sources available there the management has also focussed to make this resort as a home for maximum species of fruit plants and vegetables. We enjoyed the stay in the cottages with the rythemic music of the stream nearby and waking up with the chirping bird sounds as a nature's alarm. The homely braekfast, lunch and dinner and the refreshing bath in the specially prepared swimming pool as well as the bath in the sparking stream was really memorable. Its a perfect place for enjoy with lots of activities which includes trekking, table tennis, badminton,swimming, snorkeling etc. The management team including the owners of the resort are always with the guests taking care of their requirements. Its a perfect place for those who love fresh air abundant with oxygen and natural mineral water for drinking. Our special appreciation to the resort owners Mr Prasannan,Mr Arjun and Mr Deepak who keep on putting their efforts to make a memorable holiday for their guests....

Vacation at Great Hornbill Resort

We were a family of four with 2 kids, aged 7 and 3. We spent 2 days there and had a most wonderful time! The place is really close to nature in so many ways, from the rustic walkway that leads to the stream, the swimming pond, the majestic mist topped hills, the ever present sound of the rushing water. Loved the different trees around. Had the truly unique experience of catching a fish and having it for dinner!! The kids also had a great time and made some good friends. What made it all the more special is the way we were treated... it was more like being in a family than anything else!! Would really love to go back again. Thank you Arjun and family!!
