This was our first stop on our 14 day tour and we loved it! Our hostess Sigrun was charming and interesting, and we adored our conversations with her, and seeing her amazing sculptures which decorate the lovely sitting room leading out to a large terrace where we were treated to afternoon tea. Our en suite rooms were large, and one had its own private sit-out balcony which was special. We asked for dinner the first night and Laxman cooked us the perfect first curry in India, enhanced by a fresh green salad, the lettuce grown on a rooftop garden. My sister had asked for bacon and grilled tomatoes for breakfast. Bacon is not easy to find but they found it! My daughter and I had a delicious omelette, and there was copious coffee and toast with delicious homemade mango conserve. Our stay was not in a separate apartment, but our hostess and staff were mindful of our privacy. We loved our stay here and meeting Sigrun. Her home was the perfect stay at the beginning of our trip.
