It's very nice place to stay and also near to town.This is awesome place and delicious food and very good villas, Personally really enjoyed and loved this place And also employees also give the good service.

Nice place to stay with family in coorg. Little far away from 2town. Roads inside to be improved. Good staff and well maintained.  Villa rooms best option. Needs signboards on the way becase same name there are few resorts aswell.

Location is absolutely great as it is in the middle of a reserve forest and right on the banks of the Harangi Reservoir. Honestly speaking about the rooms, one can be extremely luck to get the best rooms. Otherwise some of the rooms do have quite a bit of flies and mosquitoes especially during the rainy season. The downside of visiting the place during summer is the humidity and hot weather as the fans will just not suffice. Staff tries to do its best to be helpful and courteous but the place does seem understaffed when it is fully occupied.  Networks is absolutely pathetic as you will play ping pong to find a 2G network. Even though 3 Times meal is taken care of in the cottage pricing, but  still seems a little on the higher side considering the limited spread of the menu coupled with the room facilities and conditions. On the flip side, one can be completely bet in the midst of nature and jungle living away from the city chaos in a rather unconnected atmosphere amid all other living creatures.
There are couple of indoor activities like Carrom and chess and few outdoor activites like volleyball and badminton, but nothing on the adventure side considering it is very close to nature.

Had been there the last weekend and it was a memorable one. Roads to this place is good other than the last 5 kms after you enter the forest zone, and that is how it should be while you enter into a forest. Do not expect highway kind of roads when you enter a forest zone, you will find muddy roads and if it has rained, it worsens. After you cross this 5km stretch you reach Prakruth in the midst of Jungle - Backwaters of Harangi welcomes you and believe me its an awesome sight. Think all the rooms have a magnificent view of the backwater. Very less staff to take care of your needs however they will do their best to cater to all. Food was good, please close all the room doors during evenings otherwise you will find lot of insects in your room, which is quite ok since its in midst of jungle which is home to all of these and we are guests. Carry bug sprays other creams while travelling.And most important thing, Do not carry any work related extra baggage's - Network is pathetic and Emailing and all will be quite challenging. Calls can be received and made however most of the times Signal is not available. If you want to get out of the City atmosphere and would like to spend some time peacefully in the midst of the nature with a great view of Backwater in front to view, Go-ahead, this place will not disappoint.

This resort is beautiful which is situated in a forest just, well you are not so off the grid either. It's probably some 5-6 km from the Bangalore-Mangalore highway, except the road connecting the Highway to the resort, the rest of the road connectivity is good. I would recommend going by SUV just to handle this pathetic stretch of 5-6 km. Also its not so upscale so please don't have any high expectations towards it.

Beautiful Resort Inside A Forest

Very bad/ dishonest management and employees. Booked via agoda.com and had an booking ID , reference no . When reached to resort they behaved very badly , uncooperative people as they told that agooda has not informed them about reservation so they have given other people the room before we arrived . when called agoda for confirmation the Customer care execute told that they have informed the resort. Now cannot say who is saying the truth but  as i was travelling with family , kids and the sky was getting darker so they got us into a messy situation. Good was coorg lagoon manager when we explained our situation they offered some room atleast to stay for a day. This resort is next to prakruth and the hospitality showed by coorg lagoon employee was the expectation from prakruth employee. Running business in this field we expect employee to have empathy towards customers and help us to solve this kind of issues .
