Recently stayed in this resort with family. Resort is spacious and it was nature-filled stay. Located amidst lush greenery, enjoyed peaceful nature walks through coffee and spice plantations. The soothing sound of birds chirping in the morning and refreshing swimming pool was quite relaxing.The staff was warm, welcoming and the food was delicious.

Nature Filled Stay

Ananya greens thou we were not sure how would the property or stay would be but to our surprise one of the best stays that we experienced. 
 It's located in Madikeri away from the city amidst coffee plantation. The rooms are really spacious and has a beautiful view from the balcony. 
 Staff and the manager Mr. Desai is extremly cordial and helpful. They certainly made our stay pleasant. Services provided were beyond expectation. We have a kid and the staff ensured to take care of the kid even when we were not around. 
 Absolutely recommened.

Best stay

Booked this resort through mmt for a trip with sisters. The facilities and services at the resort are excellent.
The resort has a good view of the jungle. The staff of the resort are very helpfull.
The driver arranged by mmt was very relaible person

This resort with 24 rooms in beautifully situated surrounded by lush greenery. The rooms are very spacious,with all amenities and provided a great view of the surroundings.The rooms are very neat and clean. The resort is located about 6 Kms away from the hustle of Madikeri town.
The resort does not have a restaurant. Food is served in the room only. Breakfast is served at the dining hall.The resort management should seriously think of starting a full fledged restaurant.
The resort boasts of a swimming pool, but during my stay the water was very dirty and was green due to Algae.

Excellent place to stay in Coorg.

So glad to have chosen this place.....perfect for travelers who look forward to get a taste of the authentic cultures while visiting any place. 
I stayed here for 3 days for a family reunion....this place topped our list of hotels as we found it to offer a pocket friendly deal....being a bit skeptical on my visit, no soon did the place manage to draw me in.

First the most important part of any stay, THE FOOOOOD.....the place offered a variety of cuisines like Continental, Chinese, Indian etc....but above it all the Chef offered authentic Coorgi delicacies that left us licking our fingers.

Secondly THE ROOMS...the rooms were pretty luxurious, clean and pocket friendly. The room service was also good with very friendly and courteous staff.

THE LOCATION...the property is very close to madikeri city, raja seat and the museum, they are all just a 15 min drive away...the property is also on the way and convenient for travelers coming from Bangalore and Mysore.

THE PLACE HOSTS LOCAL WINE TASTING...which is very exciting, YOU CAN ALSO TAKE A WALK DOWN THE COFFEE PLANTATION....AND OBSERVE COFFEE PICKING ...in the premises, which makes it very convenient..THEY ALSO HAVE A SERENE SPACE FOR MEDITATION AND YOGA AMIDST NATURE.....and the COORGI FOOD..wen you head back just completes the affair

Overall..if Coorg really is to be experienced, I’d say this place would do it justice and more.

It's a good property.ambition is very good also staff is very excellent.food is also very good..come n enjoy with ur friends.coffee plantation is very good to see. Swimming pool is very good.u also enjoy Cold in this area..

Like the saying"Don't judge a book by it's cover"..."Don't judge a resort by it's bad reviews" ...you should experience it on your own...
Before going to cynosure I had seen the reviews ...but I still decided to go .... I had gone with my family and friends and TRUST ME.... I had the best time there the food was amazing especially those new type of cheese paratha..which were delicious and even the cheese balls and veg lasagna was mouth watering and prawn curry ,biriyani and fresh salads...they always had new varieties morning,noon and night...the service was really pleasant...the staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were very cozy and beautiful, the colours of the rooms were very lively..and even the bathrooms were very clean...we had many activities to do which were relaxing and fun like... when we had bonfire it was very relaxing and pleasant, we danced played music..and even did star gazing ,we also had disco night...and during the day we went for a splash in the pool which was "clean"...we even had a walk through the coffee plantation...it was beautiful..and the best part was when we had gone for wine tasting and seeing varieties of coffee beans...we saw different coffee beans and its rich powder ...the arom was breathtaking....we also saw how  wine was made and I had the best time tasting them ...it was SOO GOOOD..then we went to Rajaseat and saw a breathtaking sunset ...
over all cynosure was an AMAZING place...people who want to visit Madikeri ..I will recommend cynosure with no hesitation !!! especially for the people who want to relax and who comes from the cities...because trust me you can only hear birds chirping and wind blowing and the best part is it is a technological detox...it was a ...WONDERFUL  EXPERIENCE!!!

Stayed here for 2 nights in May 2024 with family and kids. Room service was very bad needed to follow up multiple times. Towels were not cleaned, room full of ants. Till 9:30 am breakfast was not ready, was difficult with kid. Lunch time kitchen opens at 1pm and order took 1 hour to be ready.


Pathetic Service.. Better to avoid 

I have gone through horrible experience at this Hotel for many reasons and had to checkout with in one night though I booked myself for 2 nights there:
1). There was no electricity through out the night and it was pitch dark place
2). There was no itercom and no way to connect to reception or to care taker
3). There was no one at reception and property was being managed by a single care taker
4). No Hot water as obviously there was no electricity
5). There were strange voices all through out the night and we couldn't sleep at all
6). Most importantly, the manage who seems to being managing this remotely wasn't helpful or understandable to the facts of the reported issue

I would strongly recommend to all to not to stay at this place.

Not a worthy one to stay.....poor maintenance and manager behavior towards the customer is irritating..Not give basic respect to human  .

His way of taking  very bad and we vacate hotel before our check-out time and manger not feel for that customer leaving unsatisfied
