Hill Top Ayurvedic Beach Resort

This is a budget hotel with basic rooms. I stayed in a non-ac room for 6 days. It was clean and neat. The bathrooms are very basic with a simple tap and shower. The staff are lovely and it is located right on the north cliff in the midst of all the action facing the sea.

Excellent Location

We stayed here for 4 nights in June. The room was good, clean, comfy and spacious, had AC and an ensuite bathroom and sea views. The balcony was nice but not clean unfortunately...ants and food rotting on the sill - which seems easily rectified so a bit of a let down. No breaky included. I think during the low season the staff change, and although they were friendly there were a few indiscrepancies... Tibetan kitchen next door was good, and you can get morning chai or breakfast there & there are plenty of places to eat and hang out along the cliff top. 

Off season - was nice.

I didnt stay at the hotel but went there for an ayurvedic massage. The massage itself was good but the place...Oh man it needs some really good cleaning. Filthy and disgusting. No towels to lie on, dirty rugs to clean the oils off your body, bathroom that hasn't been cleaned for years. I didnt expect a luxurious massage parlour but some basic hygiene would be really appreciated. Although massage was good as I said, I would never come back there

Ayurvedic Massage

Worst "massage" ive ever had. The lady talked through the whole thing to her colleague next door, she was on her phone texting and would randomly stop the massage, she complained to me about how much she works etc and was generally very rude and uncomfortable to be with. The place wasnt clean and it wasnt private or in any way relaxing.The massage itself was just being rubbed with an excessive amount of oil with no technique whatsoever and she cut me with her nail. There was no privacy at all. When i got up in the middle of it to leave she tried to hold me down and restrained me by the wrists! My boyfriend's was the exact same and he left during his. Definitely dont go here! Had to argue for a refund

Dont get a massage here!!

I didn’t stay but went for a massage treatment with friends. We all 3 came out and had the same conclusion. The worst massage we’ve had, awkward staff and very unpleasant. While stripped naked the door was opened several times during the massage, a mobile phone was answered during another, the other had the massuse changed 3 times, not by request. I asked more than once to increase the pressure. (I’m super selective so if I’m asking for a stronger massage that’s a big thing) it was purely an oil rub down. Overly expensive and just terrible. So many other places to chose. Please do yourself a favour, unless you want to be smothered in oil, with your privates on displah for the entire place and rubbed awkwardly for an hour.
