My stay at InnDia Hostel couldn't have been better. Sandy and the staff went out of their way to make sure I sure what the best of Amritsar had to offer. They helped me with my travel arrangements beyond Amritsar, taking care of everything so I didn't have to worry. The hostel is EXTREMELY clean and spacious. The air conditioning is powerful and it was such a nice haven from the heat of Amritsar. Free laundry and wifi, as well as a nice big kitchen for your use. 

It's on a safe and quiet street a little bit away from the hustle and bustle, but it's easy to get a tuk tuk on the road about a 3 minute walk. I would definitely recommend.

Extremely clean, spacious and warm staff!

Really friendly staff,  clean rooms and bathrooms. The place to go when you want to relax and enjoy your stay in Amritsar! It is a bit further away from the golden temple but the free laundry and breakfast make up for it. It actually is really calm here and the nearby restaurant recommended by the hostel is excellent!

We really enjoyed our stay in the InnDia Boutique Hostel. The 8 Bed Dorm was clean, pretty modern and quite huge. Enough room for your Luggage and the beds were really comfortable. Every bed had his own Plug and a Light. The breakfast was basic (Toast with Marmalade or Cornflakes) but it was definitely enough. On the second day we also get some Bananas. The free Laundry was perfect. 
It is a bit outside, but quite and a Tuk-Tuk is around 80 Rupee to the Golden Temple. Also there are Restaurants and a little Supermarket close by. 
For the money definitely would stay again!!

Free Laundry, free Breakfast and clean Hostel

This happened to be my first hostel experience and also turned out the best hostel that happened to me. clean and spacious rooms. Sandy is very helpful with all your queries. 

A little tricky to find the place as it is interior and the tuk-tuk drivers need directions to reach the place. A great place to meet new people who are like minded travelers and share different stories of their travel.

A kitchen is available with some toast, jam, bananas, cereal and milk. You will need to prepare your own breakfast with these.

Sandy offered to give us a food tour which we did not take.

Excellent Hostel!

Me and my partner came to Amritsar as I was getting over illness so we booked a private room for the two of us. The room (and the hostel in general) was very clean and tidy.

I worried about the security a little. Although it's on a very quiet road, it's only a 1 minute walk to the main road. When we arrived the door was open and there was no one to be found. We tried ringing but had no answer. All of the dorm doors were wide open and people's stuff could easily have been stolen. We ended up having to just sit in the reception area until someone showed up some time later.

What made our experience at this hostel was the tour that Sandy gave us. He first took us for breakfast (first time having curry for breakfast!) which was delicious. As it's a tour you pay for Sandy's food and also tip him at the end. He then took us to other places including a recently opened Sikh fort, the Hindu Golden Temple and what Sandy called the Crazy Temple. It's a Hindu temple and upstairs it's basically a funhouse where you have to crawl through tunnels etc. Without Sandy taking us there we would never have seen it!

Sandy also helped to arrange our transport to the border ceremony which was a great price. The driver was really nice. 

The only thing that slightly soured our experience was that Sandy seemed to be making a lone female traveller a little uncomfortable.
