I frequent the Signature Inn hotel because of the quality of rooms, kind service and the comfort like home feel. Hot water, a/c, fridge, microwave and small breakfast table are just a few good things. Occasionally the WiFi seems congested, but it is normally good enough to stream day or night.

The staff are exceptional in kindness, courtesy and professionalism. I know the owner, management and employees by first name, as most have been with the hotel for years. My last stay was 14 months ago because of COVID; only one new staff member had been added since then that I didn't know.

Whether traveling alone, with family, or colleagues and friends, this hotel stands out.

My wife and I stayed here for just over a week during CORVID 19 SEP/OCT2020. We followed a recommendation and received first class service throughout our entire visit. Safety, Service and Care THANKS!

Place is clean. Clean rooms. Safe, quiet neighbourhood. Extremely helpful owner and staff. Good healthy breakfast. Air-conditioned. Telephone in room. Safe locker and baggage storage lockable area in rooms.
Very appropriate rates.

On a short last minute family celebration trip to Guyana and decided to stay at Signature Inn.  I arrived 2am and even at that hour, the staff was extremely pleasant.  Breakfast was customized since I am a vegetarian.  Room was clean and comfortable.  Location was convenient.  Great job.  I do plan to stay at Signature again

Excellent location in a quieter area of Georgetown.  Rooms come with basic amenities ( kitchenette to include: refrigerator and microwave)  Good WiFi.  Breakfast are tailored to suit your diet. 24-hour security. Taxi services available upon requests and arrives in a timely manner.  Most of all exceptional staff!

My wife and I stayed 6 nights reserved with Booking.com. 

The owner picked us up at the OGL Airport and drove us 4 mi west to this hotel. A receptionist checked us in, presented the keys, and we followed the man carrying our bags up the stairs.  Our spacious 3rd floor #128 had a comfortable king, closet, small couch, beautifully set table for 2 near the very basic kitchenette, and an outfitted bathroom with tiled shower. After walking 850 m east to the Survival Supermarket, we returned to find our requested additional towels, hot pot and a more standard pillow to get us settled in on the first evening.
The 7:30 AM breakfast always included a fruit plate with coffee, but the main plate varied with eggs, toast and salad, or eggs, toast and hot dogs, fried bun with tuna salad, and once fried fish with sweet potatoes and plantains. Our favorite was the omelette with toast and salad.
Besides flying to Kaiteur Falls, one morning we walked to the Botanical Garden/Zoo, another to see the National Park's manatees and lighthouse, and one to the center's cathedral, museum, library and city hall.
We felt this quiet centrally located 30 room hotel was a good value at ~$92 US per night, paying with a Visa card.

I wasn't too sure what to make of this place before I visited since the website had quite a few issues and limited information. So, I was glad to be pleasantly surprised by the "homey" feel of the hotel. It's older, but nice, kept and clean. The older lady at the front desk (whose name I can't recall) was always so pleasant and very helpful. Anyone who worked their was actually pretty pleasant. I enjoyed the breakfast on the few mornings I was able to make it to breakfast; I especially enjoyed the fruit plate. The location is relatively quiet and tucked away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to jump right into the colorful city life that is Guyana. This is certainly a decent place for the budget traveler.

I stayed at Signature Inn for only two days. As I was traveling alone I was, of course, concerned about safety. This Inn was perfect. It was located slightly outside the center of Georgetown but in a nice neighborhood. Two restaurants were within half a block. Ms Patricia, the capable and professional receptionist, found me a good guide/driver. Gilbert (?) showed me most of the highlights in the short time I was in Georgetown. He was helpful and courteous. Breakfast was included in the room rate. I was very surprised when at 8am, about the time I was planning to look for the breakfast room, it was a knock on my door (room 153). A staff person delivered a large tray with coffee or tea, a fresh fruit plate, and a plate with a large delicious warm donut like bread and several slices of cheese. It was a satisfying breakfast.
The room was large, clean and with a air condition and TV that worked. I recommend Signature Inn.

I stayed at Signature Inn and for the most part it was a nice stay. The front desk staff were very accommodating. The problem is actually management. I communicated via email with one of the managers (Indira Rosa) who confirmed dates, price and transportation. It wasn't until check-out I found out that they would charge a large fee (about $70 extra) to use my credit card and that they preferred cash for EVERYTHING including airport transfer. None of this was communicated to me via email. That manager even tried to deny confirming my airport shuttle reservation. Thankfully, I have emails documented with her confirming my reservation. When I provided a print-out with her confirming airport shuttle, she stated the the hotel doesn't really offer that service. I reminder her that it is listed on the website and she herself confirmed airport transportation with me via email.  It was a bunch of back and forth with that manager changing her versions of why she didn't tell me about the credit card fees and why I'm responsible for the taxi. AGAIN, THERE IS NO WHERE ON THEIR WEBSITE  or IN MY EMAILS (at the time I booked) that said credit card payments would have additional charges. This hotel needs to work on communicating more effectively. 

As an international travel, it is not wise to travel with cash. Nonetheless, if this was communicated with me IN ADVANCE I would have made arrangements to pay in cash. I also asked for an invoice at check-out and was informed only management can provide invoices which is unprofessional and weird. This is the first time I've had to leave a hotel without an invoice. 

I had a lovely time in Guyana and very sadden on how it ended with this hotel. There was no accountability on management's part. If you do decide to stay here please bring cash and confirm everything SEVERAL TIMES OVER.

Great start but.....  not so great finish!

The rooms are spacious and have a little kitchenette with a big fridge. The room was a bit poorly lit but the overall experience was good. The staff was helpful but there was no help to take up my heavy bags up the stairs,
